The location of the hotel is conveniently close to the main attractions of the area, however, it is not located directly on the very busy road. When you have a room at the back of the building, it's quiet and private. The lobby and the breakfast room are welcoming and nicely decorated with fresh flowers and a personal touch. Our room was spacious and equipped with a large refrigerator, enough lamps and very comfy beds. Breakfast was included in our very good room rate. The fresh fruit at the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Brandywine diner within walking distance - great restaurant.
We went to Chadds Ford to see the lights at Longwood Garden.
We went to Chadds Ford to see the lights at Longwood Garden. I've been in the area another time for a weekend with a friend. There are many things to do in the area such as wineries, battlefields, breweries, mushroom farms (I took a free cooking class), and museums. Kennett Square is just down the road and is a cute town with many shops and places to eat and drink. It's the same in West Chester—just a short ride to a charming town with a lot to offer.

This is a lovely little gem of a hotel that meets the criteria for comfort, cleanliness, and affordability. Don't expect a super modern ($$$) facility, rather a comfortable facility with a lot of charm. The continental breakfast was good, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful (Truly superb restaurant just a short walk away - no sacrificing quality for convenience!) Easy check-in and express check-out as well! A real find!

The ambiance was good.
The ambiance was good. Their vending machine was not working. They sell wine by the bottle. They only had warm cans of 1 type of soda pop. No snacks. Breakfast was standard with make it yourself waffles. Parking was free but on the weekend there was no room in the hotel parking lot. I was told I would not be towed if I parked next door despite signs saying otherwise. I got up early to move my car. Their is a nice coffeehouse next door. There are some very nice outdoor spaces. Location is great for Longwood Gardens and Nemours Estate was a short drive. Staff was pleasant. This was a Christmas /Happy 21st Birthday trip with my daughter. She has anxiety but felt safe and was pleased with the cleanliness. Overall she rated the place about average for price paid. Pictures are of the area next door.

A charming small PA town with good restaurants and an excellent art museum. Brandywine River Museum. It is the site of a Revolutionary War Battlefield. It is close to Longwood Gardens. The local hosts are kind and welcoming.

The beds were very comfortable. The whole hotel was nice. It has a cosy entrance with a chimney and a little desk with a computer. Feels a little bit like in a living room in a holiday home.
Specially Troy was very kind and friendly. He answered all our questions and offered us to stay longer if we need more time. I was very surprised of the breakfast which wasn’t mentioned on the website. Very tasty and a mix of different offers.
I can really recommend this Hotel.
Close to longwood gardens antiquing & restaurant we enjoy. Smaller hotel with warm feel and welcoming entry and reception area. Troy at front desk was so personable helpful and friendly. Fireplace going and nice holiday decorations up. Easy keyless access. Short stay. We were trying a different hotel this trip. Double Q Room simple clean nice. Great towels, plenty of pillows. Great shower pressure. Thoughtful touches throughout the hotel.
The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The facilities were clean and lovely. The room was very comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast was fresh and varied.
The location was great for easy access to museums, wineries and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for anyone visiting the area.
Loved having the gas fireplace and a comfy king bed. Breakfast was delightful. We could have in our room or in the dining room of the main house. We ate in the dining room. Nice chatting with other guests. Grounds are beautiful. Innkeeper was attentive and quick to respond...thank you Nancy! Lovely stay!!
The location of the hotel was excellent. It's off of route 1 in a quiet area. We were in Chadds Ford for the reenactment of the Battle of Brandywine. The battlefield was a short drive away. It was an easy walk to two excellent restaurants and a short drive to other restaurants and antique shops.
we booked two rooms. Both rooms are very clean. we only stayed there for the night but we wish we could stay there more. the inn keepers are super helpful. We definitely will consider staying there again next time when we explore longwood garden.
Breakfast not on location due to staffing issues but was very good at the Cafe provided by the Inn as an alternative. We loved the ambiance a ND the rolling terrain and landscape. Proximity to area attractions was perfect.
Location convenient to Longwood. Comfortable, clean, quiet, coffee shop next door to the hotel. Staff always friendly and helpful. Room access “method” great since you don’t have to worry about forgetting key card in room.
Good coffee with a variety of baked goods ,cereal, fruit and yogurt for breakfast. Location close to Longwood Gardens
Kennett Square, shopping on 202 and historical sites. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.
