I stayed in a double room the night after running the Boston Marathon. Claremont is easy to get to, not too far from one of the interstate highways.
The Common Man Inn is a converted mill. What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. This inn is spectacular — from its location on the river to its rustic refurbished buildings, excellent restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, and overall sparkling cleanliness. The large room near reception is so very appealing: three comfy sofas around the fireplace to read. Brick and beams and bookcases...so warm and inviting.
The staff members were friendly, helpful, and profesional. Caterinne, the girl who greeted us at the reception, was charming, efficient and gave us all kinds of instructions. We appreciated that the Fitness Center with Gym / Workout Roomfitness room and jakuzzi and sauna facilities were open until 11 p.m. That was the perfect ending to the marathon.
The rooms are spacious and the bedding is among the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Spacious room (perfectly-placed reading light., air conditioning, Desk,Telephone, Coffee / tea maker, Refrigerator, Flatscreen TV, Bottled water, Iron, Wake-up service / alarm clock...)
Nicely equiped bathroom: Complimentary toiletries, Hair dryer, artisan soap ...
Free wifi was included and it was fast and uninterrupted.
In the morning there was a complimentary expanded continental breakfast served in the lobby, Cereals, breads, juice, fruit, better quality yoghurts, coffee, thee and superdelicious the breakfast sándwiches: high quality.
I look forward to being there again !

506 River Inn is located in the quiet area of Woodstock. My room was quiet, reasonably sized with lovely views. The food was excellent, not too complex but tasted wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I'd most certainly come back.

The location was great and the staff were attentive, even though most communication was virtual. Liked the easy self-check-in too.

Breakfast was delicious. Location was beautiful. Right outside cute town.
We were in a block a little up the road from the main hotel building, and it was a huge suite with a lovely view from the windows and balcony over the hills right in the heart of some stunning countryside. Very clean and very comfortable and pretty good value for money considering the size or room, facilities and outlook. Cheerful and very helpful reception staff. Even though it was remote the block had good wifi connectivity.
The indoor pool was a great amenity but very "tired" looking. The hotel was nicely located and also had a ton of amenities, like a game room, theater, arcade but most of these things needed more attention during our stay. More staff would be better. Would stay again but would do so knowing that the property is a little dated. We needed to request a space heater in our room as there was no heat on the second floor.
Very spacious and clean apartments. Beautiful location - nestled against a mountain and hiking trails right behind the hotel. A short drive from many local attractions. The staff were very helpful and friendly. And there is a fantastic grocery/cafe (Brownsville Butcher & Pantry) about 5 minutes walk from the hotel - accessible by a short trail in front of the registration building.
Check-in was a breeze and all the front desk staff were exceptional. The room was amazing very clean and large with several comfortable beds and a great kitchen. While here we spent some time exploring the facilities and enjoyed the arcade and pool area. The restaurant on site is exceptional we had some amazing food that we didn’t expect for a hotel restaurant.
We were doing a road trip from Texas to Vermont. we did travel in winter so there was a lot of snow and the weather was freezing. But it look gorgeous stay was very friendly and the restaurant food taste good. rooms were very comfortable for my family of 6. They are old but very clean and they have a house-welcoming feeling.
Dinner was excellent, so fresh and good portion size.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pool was much bigger than expected, activity rooms were great for kids and gym was well equipped vs most hotel gyms.
We loved the place but I asked for the main hotel as 3 out of 4 of the retired group are handicapped so the put us in a building that we had to climb 5 flights of stairs! We were not happy at all!,,
I got an entire 1 bedroom, 1bathroom apartment with a full kitchen and living and dining room areas for $1 less than the other hotel rooms in the area with just a bed and bathroom.
In a nice quiet area by the mountain. Very kid friendly, my daughter loved the activity room. The staff was super nice and the hotel's restaurant had delicious food.
