Beatrice where i was grew up & graduated highschool from (...

Beatrice where i was grew up & graduated highschool from (21yrs ago). It is also where all three of my boys were born. I had moved away in 2016, but came back to live in 2019. In my free/off time (weather permitting) my favorite places to visit are the parks on southside & westsides of town. My boys & myself were able to create some awesome memories during our park trips. Both parks are great places to have a picnic or outting with the family. They're awesome for places to take great outdoor senior photos & family pictures too. They have so many great spots to catch your most cherished candids. My fave photo spots are the hedgeapple tree @ riverside & over by the old waterfall in Chautauqua. I have many more but those would be the top 2! If you enjoy bike riding, going for a run/jog, or even a long walks. Then this final suggestion Ive got in mind for you would be just what your looking for. That would be the bike trails. Now there is actually quite a few trails going through & around town. I really enjoy the trail that goes all the way on the westside all the way around to southside. It goes through both my fave parks. I find the long walk between the two gives me a chance to clear head. As well as it allows me to soak up the beauty of nature from both parks & along the trail.

We enjoyed a relaxing wine tasting at Tall Tree Tasting.

We enjoyed a relaxing wine tasting at Tall Tree Tasting. We had a great conversation with the owner. Having lived and worked in Napa California it was pleasant to have such a nice wine tasting experience here in Nebraska where we currently live.

Beatrice is a friendly small town with impressive architecture downtown, and plenty of good eating places. The check-in clerk at the Traveler's Lodge motel was very genuine, and the staff at the 402 Restaurant was fun and down-home friendly, as were the accommodating manager and staff at Runza. Very impressed with the old-fashioned friendliness of this charming little city in southeast Nebraska.

The Capri Inn was a nice, quiet friendly hotel at a great price. Our room was pretty clean and quiet, the beds were comfy, and the staff was very friendly. Also, we felt the rooms were, well, very roomy! The four of us didn’t feel crowded and while a table and chairs would’ve been nice, we liked the space on the floor where we could spread out and have a little dinner picnic! We would certainly stay here again! Also, the 24 hour pool was a real treat, especially for our early riser children! And a nice variety for breakfast.

Everything about the hotel and location great, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately they put me on the top floor stating it would be “quiet”, and must have had rooms full of dogs. Loud barking and scratching all night and was completely unacceptable. People shouting through the walls and nothing done. Lady at checkout said “sorry” .

Very nice hotel and clean. I was very happy with everything except no place to really walk your dog except in fields. I was disappointed with we left early because of traveling so far got moved because overbooked and didn’t get any money back.

it was that the hotel had a frig with a freezer and ice maker. I was able to purchase some groceries so I didn’t have to spend money eating out all the time.

This is the best value hotel I’ve stayed at in a very long time. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast biscuits and gravy are good.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. Normally when staying in a hotel, you hear doors closing at all hours of the night, but Capri was very quiet.

This was a very clean hotel. The location was on north end of town, which was very convenient to several eating places.
