Energetic and complex, Baltimore belongs to the select group of historic cities along the east coast of the United States. Located between Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, it’s the birthplace of the National Anthem. It has a lively nightlife, picturesque neighbourhoods, and modern entertainment areas. Its large number of African American population had an important role during the days of the Civil Rights movements.
Founded in 1729, its strategic location in an arm of the Chesapeake Bay rapidly transformed it into an important trading port. The historical site of Fort McHenry is well known for its role during the War of 1812 with the British Empire.
The city has numerous neighbourhoods that still maintain a quaint atmosphere. Fells Point is famous for its 18th and 19th-century architecture, cobbled streets, typical pubs, and plenty of restaurants. Some of the best inns and hotels in Baltimore are located here, while a more local feeling and great accommodation can also be found in Federal Hill and Midtown.
The Inner Harbor is a lively area where tourists can find modern venues and live concerts. Most Baltimore hotels are located in the Harbor, while the business district has also a wide variety of accommodation.

Loved it, so much to do & everything is so close!
Loved it, so much to do & everything is so close! If you don't feel like walking you can always UBER or the like for CHEAP! We hit the Zoo, a baseball game, a concert and the waterfront! Yes, some areas looked a bit sketchy, but we had no problems walking around at all hours, including 11PM after a concert to get some food at Silver Moon II. - Side note: the food was delicious and what a variety!

Baltimore has become a really clean, vibrant city with plenty of night life and great restaurants. The downtown harbor area is lovely. We usually whizz through but plan on spending more time here in the future to try the restaurants and take in the sights.

It had been 30 yrs since our last visit on business travel. It has really changed. There is construction everywhere including proposed future demolition of shops at Inner Harbor. If you drive be prepared to pay high hotel parking fees, lots of traffic and parking issues. If not, be prepared to do lots of walking and use public Charm free buses.

I did my residency in Bmore and lived there for 6 years, so perhaps that is why it is not my favorite. There are areas that are quite “charming” but then others that are quite scary. The drug scene is still raging and they need to offer better programs to aid the homeless. Great healthcare and graduate programs at University of Maryland/Shock Trauma. There are decent restaurants, but it’s sad that so many of the ones I loved are now closed. I don’t mind traveling there now for work, but I would probably never live there again.

Enjoyed by the harbor, Aquarium is great.
Enjoyed by the harbor, Aquarium is great. Not enough time to explore, plan on staying 2 days next time. Found other attractions later missed seeing. Will be back. Will look for a hotel closer as well. Got to see the Perivian ship that was docked in the harbor for free.

The stay was awful.
The stay was awful. Lost our reservation and gave it to another guest, we were supposed to have a harbor view and got a view of a brick wall. The bathroom in the room was filthy and there was a hairy bar of used soap left in the shower. Our AMEX had attempted charges every night for hundreds of dollars, after paying in full at check in along with incidentals. I was told it was an accounting error. We were supposed to get a refund for our experience, which has still not happened. There are signs, and even a special elevator for a rooftop bar that doesn't exist. Terrible experience, will never stay there again.
The hotel is in a prime location in Baltimore's arts district with plenty of history in every building and step, while the hotel is situated inside a historic residence, but is tastefully modern in its interior design. The rooms are spacious and the room we had featured a writing desk that was a decorative room feature in itself. The reading chair by the window was also special/comfy. This was really an exceptionally done hotel, and everyone of the staff we interacted with were excellent!
me and my husband we’re visiting for a Convention in Inner Harbor we don’t like to stay in a small hotel rooms so we chose to go a little outside the downtown area for accommodations and we really really enjoyed the stay the apartment is really clean very spacious and extremely comfortable we stayed for three nights And we had a really great time!!! The neighborhood wasn’t the best but to be honest with you you forget all that once you’re inside, it was definitely well worth the value!!!
The staff was very friendly, and very helpful answering questions. about "things-to-do" in Baltimore. The hotel's location is a few blocks away from the Inner Harbor, so not the top location, but the location was otherwise fine. Most of the tourist things were a short walk away. . Parking was available next door, and was an easy in-and-out (the hotel staff knew all about the parking options, and advised accordingly. The beds were very comfortable.
The view of the Baltimore Inner Harbor was excellent. The hotel was quiet and the beds comfortable and clean. Breakfast was efficiently served al la carte on the 3rd floor of the hotel. The bar on that floor was also nice in the evening. The close proximity to the attractions at Inner harbor made our short vacation work well for us.
Modern, fresh and well designed room, outsfanding views of the Harbor. An excellent hotel restaurant, Cindy Lou's Fish House, on site with waterfront dining. Fun, pristine new neighborhood to explore, scooters and bikes to rent on bike rack outside. Short, scenic walk to Inner Harbor. My new favorite hotel in Baltimore.
The staff was extremely friendly, especially Melody. The hotel was very pretty, located right in the heart of inner harbor which I really liked. It was clean as well. I chose a harbor view because the stay was already expensive so might as well go big! lol The pool was nice and hot tub as well. I was pleased.
Very functional, comfortable hotel in a safe area in Baltimore within walking distance of the attractions. They have lovely, artful touches which makes it feel like a boutique hotel. Front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my kindle and they arranged for it to be returned to me.
The location was amazing, especially if attending a sporting event, the convention center, or the inner harbor. Regardless of any issues with the room itself, the location and value (much more affordable than surrounding hotels) made the stay well worth it.
the hotel was nice, beautiful old building, staff was friendly, room was spacious and comfortable and good free breakfast. walking distance to the aquarium, but that's all that's left in the Inner Harbor now. We chose it to be near to Soundstage for a gig.
It was in a great area of Baltimore. And it was very safe. I also liked that they could cater to my needs. This trip was for my surgery at John Hopkins. And while I was in the hospital, they catered to my family's needs.
I loved the location of the Hotel. I felt safe enough to walk around and enjoy all Baltimore had to offer. I felt the bed was super comfy and the breakfast was delish!!!
It's a Beautiful hotel located two blocks from the inner harbor, quick access to everything downtown. The staff was amazing!! Great place we will stay again!!
