Great location next to the ocean, shore.
The room had restocked tea and coffee, still water.
Good breakfast. Every day there was a new and delicious cake and fruits.
This is convenient because it is not so easy to find a tasty and inexpensive breakfast in the city.
It can be seen that the hotel has been renovated.

I went in the off-season and did not go to the casino.
I went in the off-season and did not go to the casino. The incredibly large beach made for great walking. The boardwalk and the promenade were excellent for walking, too. Not a hilly town, per se. And I don't think i would care for high summer season. Uber is easily available and taking the train to / from Coimbra was inexpensive and easy.
I am a serious walker (average 6-8 miles a day) so I found the town easy to navigate.

We spent most of our time close to the Hotel and at Praia da Claridade/ Praia Alto do Viso.
Since it was just one night, we couldn't bring a lot of comments to this.
Nevertheless, we walked thru the night and we had dinner at Feito ao Bife, which is a very nice meat place, where you can eat different types of meat on the stone.
People from Figueira are very kind and warm.
They offer a lot of services and there is as well a Casino if you like to try your luck.
The city in a half season is quite easy to walk or drive.

Figueira da Foz seems to be a working town, not too much of a tourist town. Although it was not beach season and the beach was fog covered, it was very large and beautiful. We found some very good restaurants with traditional Portuguese food.

We loved Fig da Foz!
We loved Fig da Foz! A fairly quite resort town, just what we like! The only drawback is a pulp or paper mill located south of town. When the fog comes in so does the smell of the mill. We would consider living here if the mill is not a huge problem.

I was there in September and it was already dead.
I was there in September and it was already dead. Loads of things closed.
It's pleasant enough with good public amenities but there really isn't anything to do except explore the excellent beach.
Getting around without a car can be a challenge: the station is 25 minutes from the beach and although quite a few buses go to the market (much fewer to the beach) it's close to impossible to find out about them.
I hardly ever saw a taxi.
The best bit for me was lunch at the excellent Cafe Praca 18.

The Claridade Beach is the best place I have visited in Figueira da Foz, lots of seafood and restaurants near by. Jet7.5 near Praça do Forte is a great restaurant with live music! Worth to have a try. I quite enjoy walking by the beach, so all my visit was on foot.

Great location, staff are friendly and very welcoming, the rooms are light and airy and the whole place also smalls amazing, super comfortable bed, one of the best nights sleep we have ever had.
There were bikes at the hotel to use to explore the area which was amazing experience riding along the beach watching the sun set.
Definitely be coming back, as unfortunately we only stayed one night due to a stop over but couldn’t have ask for it to be better would love to spend more time there
The hotel is newly refurbished and the rooms are really lovely.
We stayed on a quiet day and were the only people at Breakfast. The front desk staff were excellent and gave a great recommendation for dinner.
We visited the salt marshes and followed the well signed walk from
The salt museum, this was a wonderful way to experience nature, a highlight was being invited to have coffee with 2 of the locals who farm the salt.
location: right in the heart of Figueira da Foz, steps away from the beach. we came in the low season but I can assume it might get loud in the high season since it’s right on the street with the casino and restaurants.
room: very clean and comfortable with the good bed and bedding.
breakfast: really really good and varied, we absolutely loved it.
staff: very welcoming and ready to help.
It is in a traditional building very well decorated and modernized so that the rooms feel new and comfortable if used mainly for sleeping as they fo not have much free space. We stayed at the top floor and enjoyed the roof window over the toilet
The staff was kind and welcoming
The location is at the heart of the traditional Figueira da Foz and near the market and the Casino
Breakfast was good and had a good variety at the buffet. Staff was always friendly and helpful.
The pool and the pool area, garden and facilities are amazing, I spent most days not even wanting to leave the hotel to go elsewhere, because it was perfect and very relaxing.
The room has aircon and all facilities were more than enough for me, as a solo traveler.
A french couple has lovingly restored this former house into the equivalent of a boutique hotel. The interior is very well appointed--from furnishings and artwork, to the clawfoot bathtub in our room, and the chef's kitchen from which our host prepared the best breakfast we had in Portugal. Our host also provided great local knowledge of restaurants.
Great breakfast with varieties of selections. The room was very spacious, clean and the hotel provide a number of amenities. The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk to the beach and is located close to nice cafes and restaurants. I am very happy with my stay and will definitely stay here if we were to come to Figueira in the future.
We choose this hotel for the views and we did not regret it - the view is just astonishing.
The rooms are all incredibly spacious and the beds very comfortable.
The swimming pool/gym/sauna are located in the last floor, but, sadly, they were still closed.
The views were incredible. Big room with furniture in good condition.Mine was a suite with sea views. If I ever go to Figueira I would stay in this hotel. Excellent value for your money.
The hotel was great, the staff attentive and helpful. Cleanliness was an 11. The room was very comfortable and spacious. All very good. A Hotel I will choose in the future.
Excellent location, very clean and well equipped. Close to all interesting point of Figueira da Foz. I'd say it's perfect if you don't have small babies or toddlers.
