The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
Super clean and comfortable.
They clean everyday.
1 minute walking from the bikini beach and supermarkets.
The breakfast is in another building but walking distance and is nice and all fresh.
You can use the sunbed and umbrella in front of the beach for free.
Totally worth it.
Note: You can pay with card but it will be added 3%.

I got to experience the full Maldives here at this amazing hotel, very cozy and comfortable room and the staff here is on another level, super friendly and very helpful. They have their own diving and excursion Center. Must try - shark bank excursion, snorkelling with nurse sharks and visit a sand bank and it was such a great adventure. And also if you are a diver, you must go to the shipwreck diving which is 10 mins from the hotel. Loved the whole experience and Gulhi is such a peaceful island

We booked just for 1 night, but we would like to stay longer. Aqua Sunset is a wonderful place for relaxation. Armeen, the owner, was a very kind and helpful guy. He also arranged the private transfer with his own boat to the airport next day in the morning. Staf was amazing. Very tasty food at the restaurant. Definitely I will come again here, for several days. Thanks for everything guys and hope to see you again.

Great hotel on Maafushi! The room was comfortable and very clean, good location right next to bikini beach. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, you can book excursions via the hotel. We did the fishing, private resort and whale shark trip and would recommend! Would also recommend having a spa treatment in the hotel spa!

Super friendly, safe, clean, quiet and with plenty of activities to choose from during the day. Restaurants with different types of cuisines available and the food is really good. And great coffee. Both beaches are absolutely stunning. Baby sharks and other marine life are always visible from shore when walking around the island.

A very welcoming island and with such friendly locals. It is a small island which is not that far from Male city or the airport by speedboat. There are some small restaurants and cafes that visitors can have snacks, drinks, tea and coffee. There are also many shops that sell everything visitors might need. Souvenir shops are also there and there are many items that can be bought at good prices. Cultural events are also there depending on the season and the occasions .Ahmed - 10Scored 10

It is a unique island, calm, giving you the right image for the local life! It has an amazing white sand beach and places with nice local food and fresh juices!!! The prices are really cheap! The energy and the atmosphere of the island is unique!!! Their people are smiley, kind, social and calm!!! It is very easy to get around Gulhi!

Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget.
Gulhi island is perfect for tourists on budget. We didn’t limit ourselves, we went on a couple of boat trips (which cost about 35-70$ per person) and bought whatever we needed (every meal was around 22$-36$), transfers cost around 25-35$ on a speed boat and 2$ on a public transport. All the restaurants, hotels and some shops accept dollars. The only disadvantage of the island, in my opinion, is that especially during low tide, the water in the ocean is knee-deep. Regardless of that the bikini beach is very clean and the corals are beautiful. Also I would suggest bringing fins with you because sometimes the current was really strong and renting them costs 5$.

Nice & cozy small island. You can find local & western food over here & they are serving nice coffee over here. Friendly locals is making you feel welcome to the Island. Walking at the beach and swimming in the sea is the 2 common activities over there. Lying on the beach chair & watching sun set is really enjoyable.

Sandy Heaven has the kindest and most helpful staff so we easily befriended them (Saif - who exceeded our hospitality expectations, Shivoo and the manager Thaathi). The cleaning service is daily, the accomodation offers you various trip options which were profesionally organized. The staff also helped us with speedboat transfers (airport and other islands).

There was a lot of construction work going on during my stay. The hotel accommodation is quite simple but offers a short walking distance to the 'bikini beach' where water sports are available for a price. Very neat! The staff are very assisting, though we had some language barrier. Just because of tourists locals and staff must not learn their foreign language, hence the humanity language is the only and right language and we were very happy to stay here for 5 days before we moved to our next island.
