The location of this hotel is perfect! Across the street from train station but noise not a problem. Also next to the free tram stop. Buses too! Tram takes you from one end of Luxembourg City to the other. Fantastic breakfast and comfortable beds.
The favorable position in the middle of the commercial and financial center makes the Christophe Colomb an ideal meeting point for business guests and tourists.

The hotel is very well located if you want to explore the old town Luxemburg and if you'd like to hop on a train to get to another town further north or to visit a nearby country, the train station is a 10-min stroll or one tram stop away (remember transportation in the entire country is free!)
The hotel has all you need for a pleasant city stay of a few days in the springtime, and it's a great value for money. Their buffet breakfast has a good offering of different kinds of bread, cold cuts, cereals, fruit, juices, coffee, and tea.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. The receptionists did a great job handling check-ins, checkouts, serving at breakfast, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. I'd come back.

The beds were so comfortable. I have honestly never had such a beautifully plush set of pillows in a hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. Even as close as it was to the highway it was quiet and secure.
