Good distance from Imola. Buzzing restaurant that was very busy with locals directly underneath rooms. Great food available, the mixed grill was beautiful. Buffet breakfast was good as well.

It was our fourth time at Palazzo di Varignana. The whole structure is very nice, immersed in a wonderful garden on the Bolognese hills, overlooking the countryside. The room we were assigned was very spacious, the bed is comfortable. The SPA is nice and has lot of pools and sauna/ other features where to relax, so if there is a lot of people you can find your peaceful spot anyways.

The owners. He was the chef, his wife was front of house. The food was lovely and the staff really looked after you. His wife spoke good English as did a couple of the waitresses, and they let our large dog eat with us in the restaurant

Didn't have breakfast. Needed to get on the road. Restaurant closed for evening meal due to Holiday weekend but reception booked me in to nice pizza restaurant nearby. Hotel was stunning & went way beyond my expectations both in style & cleanliness. Will definitely be back.
