The setting was beautiful. The view was so picturesque and we loved how tranquil the place was. It was lovely to only hear the birds. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. One criticism is on checkout the reception staff didn’t ask us if we enjoyed our stay or how everything was, I would have expected some interaction. They simply just took our payment and put labels on our suitcases which I personally felt didn’t reflect well on the property or customer service.

Great location and characterful property with views across the Tuscan hills. The owner, Benedetta, is a great host, too. She couldn’t do enough to make our stay in San Casciano a pleasant one. Will return again one day.

We loved the massive grounds and the 360 degree views around the property. The hotel itself is quaint and the rooms are individually decorated, nice size with huge bathrooms. The restaurant attached to the property is top notch ! Lovely walks to do on the property grounds.
