The river path repairs are almost finished after the 2018...

The river path repairs are almost finished after the 2018 storm damage. Great location to jump on the Sella Ronda or just enjoy winter or summer activities in the Mountains. Not particularly a destination in itself just a nice place to come back to after a mountain excursion. Pre-COVID there were plenty of dining options, now not so much. Local restrictions prevent dining or take out after 1800, unless you're in a hotel that has a restaurant.

Nice place with lake and big, high hills arround.

Nice place with lake and big, high hills arround. Because of hills directly after the apartments a little bit less sunshine during the day. So deep walley... Bad connection to main highways, so no exactly italian turist center, with a little bit quiet atmosphere.

The hotel premises are of an older type, but it can be seen that they are trying to gradually renovate the hotel. Hats off to the owners for building something like this!! The hotel must have looked pretty luxurious for the time!! The price was quite high as we had an older room but a renovated bathroom. Too bad the shower cubicle was so small. However, the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was sufficient but not enough vegetables and fruit. The staff was kind and helpful. We stayed for one night with our dog. Thank you, ciao :)

We were 3 in quadropol room but also for 4 it is a very comfortable room with a balcony, great breakfast with lovely service and ambiance ,wonderfull home made cakes that Stefano the owner bakes (the best we had in italy), 7 minutes from the the Marmolada cablecar and 30 min from Giau passo (beatiful area with treking trails that we revealed thanks to Stefano that recommended on for us and gave us map), Good pizzeria & restaurant for dinner just in the front of the hotel. Hope to come back Stefano Grazie mille

After our stay in Sol E Nef I fully agree with all notes 10 for this small hotel. Everything was just PERFECT! Room for 2 people just ideal, very well equipped, clean (cleaned up every day!), bed & bathroom - both VERY comfortable. Beautiful / calm place, very easy to reach. Extremely helpful owner! And additionally - for us Sottoguda is just lovely village to stay in. Just perfect place for "hiking holidays" :) I would love to come back there!

A beautiful small family-run hotel with a very helpful and professional staff (huge thanks to Marco for his invaluable support with everything); spacious, cozy, clean rooms, excellent food, and tons of delicious pastries. Free parking. Ski bus stops directly in front of the hotel. The location is a little isolated - it is better to have a car.

It is conveniently located between two great hiking areas, Civetta and Marmolada. The hotel has a large parking lot. A pizzeria is conveniently located across the street. This hotel is very reasonably priced. The reception has hiking maps and brochures. It was my second stay here. Both times I was completely satisfied.

The hotel has a rather homey feeling. All the furniture is made from wood and everything looks like it's from some cute alpine cottage. The staff was super nice, they went out of their way to make us confortable. We had breakfast and dinner and were very satisfied with the food.

Close to gondola to marmolada. We were in the apartment, but were offered dinner at the hotel. It was elegant dining and delicious and felt a little out of place because all we had were our hiking clothes! Made for a short hiking day along the Alta via 2-- semi rest day.

Very clean hotel, spacious rooms, good homemade meals and very pleasant staff. Sometimes a little far from some hikes but with so many positive aspects, we still think this hotel is a safe choice! We highly recommend this place.
