Excellent location is quiet Murano. Breakfast was good; great coffee. It was reasonably priced, considering how expensive accommodations are in Venice.

This house was perfect for a family stay with 2 teenagers. We loved the modern design it had everything we needed. The house was situated in a quiet courtyard a short walk from the river bus stop on Murano from which we were able to explore Venice every day using the reliable boat services ( we bought 3 day passes). Murano was lovely and peaceful, plenty of choices of places to eat, local shops and supermarket nearby etc.
Fly into Venice Marco Polo Airport, 7km from Murano. From there, take a direct water taxi (15 minutes) or the Alilaguna Linea Blu ferry (30 minutes). Domestic travellers can also reach Murano by vaporetto from Venice (10 minutes).
The most convenient airport for both domestic and international travellers is Venice Marco Polo Airport. It's approximately 7km from Murano, offering direct water taxi services, making it the best choice for accessibility and proximity.
In Murano, Italy, the primary mode of public transport is the vaporetto, a water bus service. Routes 3 and 4.1/4.2 connect Murano to Venice. Alternatively, you can explore the island on foot, as it's compact and pedestrian-friendly. Cycling is not common due to the island's size and layout. Driving is not possible as there are no roads for cars.
The best area to stay in Murano, Italy, is the central district, known for its glass-making studios, shops, and the Glass Museum. It offers convenient access to vaporetto (water bus) services, making it ideal for visitors.

I loved staying on Murano.
I loved staying on Murano. It was less crowded than Venice itself, especially at night and early mornings. I was able to take a glass working class and visit a furnace to see how the glassblowing masters work, which was very interesting. It felt like staying in a small town with easy access to Venice, Burano, and the airport.

The main streets of the island get very crowded during the day. However, move a little away from the crowds and it becomes peaceful.
After the day trippers have gone even the main streets become quiet.

We really enjoyed staying at the glassblowers' island of Murano, as a basis for visiting the city of Venice. It's a small and very peaceful island with mostly day trippers from the city, and a few nice bars and restaurants along the waterside. The boat into Venice runs frequently and we even got some spectacular views of the Dolomiti mountains. After a day of visiting the city we enjoyed being able to retreat back to the peace and quiet of Murano for the night.

A beautiful quiet island with easy and regular ferries to Venice and the other islands. In October once the many little shops closed at 5, the evenings were very quiet with just a few restaurants open in week nights. Friday night far more open. A great find if you want to see Venice but want to escape the crowds and see more of the other islands.
What an absolute gem. The best accommodation I have ever stayed in. I am so not staying in hotels anymore. I have booked 3 self catering places for this trip, and this was by far the best. Not that the other were bad, but Murano Suites(Amethyst) was the best.
Yes, Murano do roll up their streets at 4PM, and Monday to Wednesday there are hardly any places open to eat at night, but that makes for a relaxed environment. Day-trips from Murano is also easy.
Will definitely be back.
The property is clean, well sanitized, and affordable. the owner, Claudio, was excited to welcome us in. He did his absolute best to accommodate us in every way. His staff took the time to go over the waterbus schedule, routes, and connections. They gave us a recommendation for a wonderful little restaurant on the island that was fabulous!
The location in Murano is much more quiet than on the main island of Venice, yet well connected by vaporetti. The island also has much to see and all you need for cafes restaurants, grocerie storres and of course, glass shops. Rooms were clean and well cooled by AC. The little front yard serves well for sitting outside. Kind staff.
the hotel is located on Murano, a very quiet small island close to Venice but with al facilities. It is a small family run hotel in Venice style. This was the 3rd time I stayed here and hope to come back soon again. it is located in a quiet street, close to good restaurants and the boat to airport and Venice.
Gorgeous property on the sea front in Murano. We were welcomed with a glass of rose on their terrace which was lovely. Claudio was very welcoming! Room was cool with a comfy bed and large shower. Highly recommend spending the night on Murano, it’s a welcome respite from the hectic main island.
Spacious and comfortable apartment in an ideal location close to the water bus at Murano Colonna.
Murano is busy during the day (with day trippers) and very quiet in the evening which was ideal for us.
We were met by the owner/host who offered useful advice on Venice and local information.
The apartment we stayed in was amazing! It was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable, and most importantly the location was amazing! We had a view of the water which we loved, and Murano island is not near as busy as Venice, so coming back from Venice at nights was relaxing.
Very nice location - Murano is a very cute and less hectic part of Venice with a lot of charme. The hotel gives you a nostalgic feeling. It was rather quiet. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well while the bathroom was good. The receptionist was very friendly.
This apartment was spectacular. Very comfortable and clean. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and easy to work with, and the location in the middle of Murano could not be beat. I loved every minute of my stay here. Pics are of the amazing view from the bedroom.
Lovely clean modern hotel in a quiet location on Murano. The gym is great with high quality techno gym machines. The view from my room wasn't great - I looked out onto another side of the building, but the room itself was nice and very comfortable.
The hosts were very helpful. The apartment appeared to be brand new and was very stylish. It was conveniently located a 100 meters from the main shopping area in Murano.
A great way to visit Venice and it's satellite islands.
the hotel is absolutely great

I will always stay here on my trips
they are so kind and the rooms are terrific
I would rate this higher than ten if it was an option!
I stayed here with my mom and we both loved it. The lobby is super nice and inviting and our room was really spacious. We were given a free upgrade to a loft room which was of course a pleasant surprise!
Simple but elegant, spacious, sunny. Located in a quiet corner of murano, but close to 2 ferry stations, with easy access to Venice. Very pleasant and comfortable stay overall.
