A gem. We were here last year too. A charming family run hotel in Barolo. Beautiful location set among the vineyards with a fantastic view over the village of Barolo and the castle. They are so friendly and welcoming and the hotel has a very warm feeling. An elevated terrace to enjoy a glass of wine with a view. A terrace adjoining the breakfast room so you can sit outside. The wine cellar is extensive, I can only recommend you take the tour. The rooms are comfortable, nothing too fancy. Practical, clean and typical for the style of the region. Our room had a balcony overlooking the vineyards. There are two houses. I personally prefer the Barolo Classico as the room height is more generous and allows for cooler room temperature. Breakfast is plentiful with fresh products and good bread. We also dined at the restaurant which is also highly recommendable. I would come back here anytime and am looking forward to my next visit.

A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region.
A perfect place to stay in the Piedmont region. We started in Asti & then Turin. Its great to get out of the city and see "real" Italy, garnished in grapes ready to harvest. I felt like I was in a fairy tale. Barolo was a great town to be in and biking was phenomenal there.

Nice, tiny, idyllic village albeit too touristic and (consequently) overpriced wines in the several wine stores. You'll presumably get same products cheaper at your home country! Suggest to make arrangements to visit the manifold wineries instead.

Beautiful wine area, great if you like driving through vines on twisty-turny hairpin roads - we do! The Ristorante Brezza at the Hotel di Barolo is the best place to eat, with a fabulous wine list and La Cantinetta was also good. Barolo is a place to go to if you love wine, local food & vineyards. If you want nightlife and activities, you'd be better off elsewhere.

Nice village, however we liked La Morra and Monforte d'Alba a loo little more.
Prices at the wine tasting were a ribb-off, Monforte d'Alba has a similar place with reasonable tasting as well as bottle pricing.
The town Alba is also worth a visit.
Cà San Ponzio, a beautiful country house managed by two welcoming brothers, exceeded my expectations in every way. The prime location near Barolo made it a perfect base for exploring the area. The facilities were fantastic, providing everything one could need, from a delightful breakfast to a well-stocked wine cellar and enjoyable aperitivo. The hospitality extended by the brothers created an inviting and warm atmosphere throughout my stay. I highly recommend Cà San Ponzio for a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
The property is brand new and located in a beautiful area of Barolo with gorgeous view over the vineyards.
The property is family-run by people who make the effort to make your stay special and get you what you need. Communication with Cristina was very efficient and helpful.
Breakfast is delicious, and includes local cheese and fresh vegetables from the garden.
Antionella actually drove us to an appointment and picked us up three hours later. I couldn’t be happier with this property, nor Antoinella. We usually stay at a hotel and not an apartment. I would definitely consider doing this again. Antoinella, I don’t speak Italian, but I hope this translates for you. You are the dearest person and we thank you so very much.
The most cosy location from our entire trip in Italy. It felt like coming to my mum's house - so warm and cosy. The rooms are decorated in an old style, but very cosy, clean and comfortable. The owner Raphaela is a very pleasant woman, very charming, with whom you want to chat for hours by the fireplace with a glass of red wine.
We will definitely be back!
We spent two wonderful nights at this guest house. Beatrice was extremely friendly and helpful. She provided an amazing yummy breakfast both mornings and had some great suggestions for eating and aperitif's. The location was very convenient to winery's and sightseeing. If we ever go back to Barolo, we would definitely stay here again.
A charming country house run by two charming brothers, who served the most delicious breakfast every morning. Beautiful setting amongst the vineyards of Barolo and a short walk to the village. Pool and pool bar were great. Self-service cantina was wonderful and we also had an antipasti platter one evening which was delicious.
Wonderful location in the middle of the vineyards. The owner offered a free wine tasting which was exceptional, we learned a lot (and bought a few bottles)! He recommended a local trufalao for truffle hunting which we enjoyed immensely.
Lovely place, walking distance to the village of Barolo. Definitely would come again.
Right in the heart of Barolo from where it's easy to visit wineries, restaurants and Chiapella store. The room was also huge, tidy and excellent. The owner is also such a friendly and kind man that he could be the reason alone to come back here!
Great breakfast and the hotel restaurant was excellent. Make sure you meet Antonio, the waiter superiore. The winery tasting room is in the hotel. Be sure to make a reservation, it was well worth it.
-Great location to explore Barolo area, plenty of parking close by
-Very clean and well equipped room, with nice decor
-Friendly and helpful host made the check-in and check-out really easy for us
The rooms and property were beautiful clean and comfortable. The family was WONDERFUL! The food was incredible! Will definitely be back. One of our absolute favorite places to stay in Italy!
Located in the small village of Barolo, a huge apartment, absolutely clean. In the kitchen there was homemade marmelade and when we left the very friendly owners gave us homemade cake.
