By far the best experience on our 2 weeks Abruzzo trip. The apartment is very cosy, super clean and well equipped. The very friendly host Francesco gave us many tips and took us out for a drink at the local bar. One day we explored the Grotta di Stiffe and the next day we went hiking a Grand Sasso nearby. We will always remember his warm hearted hospitality and thank him so much. It's one of these seldom experiences where you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. We will be back!!

Well - if you want to experience a stay in the Middle Ages then this is your place albeit with a few mod cons like underfloor heating and a new bathroom. But the rest is medieval. Rooms are dark, mattress is very firm and beds are extremely high - make sure your room has a toilet door ! Restaurant is nice for breakfast but a bit limited for dinner. Rooms are all over the place and make sure that you can climb stairs. You might need an umbrella to go for breakfast and/or dinner. Parking is a challenge but you can pull up near reception and somebody will help you with your luggage.
