Lovely hotel, very clean and tidy, staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was great a balcony room with stunning views of the sea and beach, Food was excellent from breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great choices and all the food we had was delicious. We very much enjoyed the local lager and cider. We will definitely return soon. We also really enjoyed the walks along the beach and cliff top and felt very relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
Skerries is beautiful and well worth a visit. Close enough to city and airport.
Only downside is lack of accommodation.
Great pubs and excellent restaurants.
Such a pity there is not a decent hotel.

Skerries is a lovely Irish town with a beautiful harbour a nice clean beaches. Locals are friendly and very helpful. Wide variety of restaurants everything from a takeaway to fish restaurants to Italian restaurants. We arrived on a Saturday evening at 7:30 and there was absolutely no problem with parking in the town.

We stayed at the Red Bank Inn in Skerries for our first and last nights in Ireland. It is a great little seaside fishing village - very walkabl, with a number of good restaurants. It is also just a half hour drive from the Dublin airport so it makes a great launching pad for a vacation just about anywhere in Ireland.

Skerries is a small fishing village.
Skerries is a small fishing village. I'd been there before with my mother. We ate at the Blue Bar in Harbour Street overlooking the harbour. The food was good and the staff friendly. Especially Rebecca, Shaun and Adam the bartender. There were a variety of restaurants to choose from.

Lovely place to visit, fabulous beaches & scenery.
Lovely place to visit, fabulous beaches & scenery. Plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. Lots of nice restaurants and interesting little shops. Would recommend Ardgillan Castle and Skerries Mill. Pretty town centre with such friendly locals. Plenty of cafes to just sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a coffee.
The location of the guesthouse is super, right in the centre of Skerries, you can walk to everything. For the price we paid the rooms were super, not too small, old but nice furniture and in keeping with the character of the building. The bathroom was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We were a group of friends and stayed in twin rooms, single beds but they were fine. The breakfast next morning was in a lovely bright long room and it was excellent. This guesthouse is really good value for money.
The single room is tiny but clean. Toiletries and the basics are provided (kettle, tray for making coffee/tea, toiletries, towels etc.). Friendly and attentive staff, many thanks to Terry and co. Breakfast is generous in portion and delicious. It's centrally located about 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the Skerries Mills and the train station. You can bring your dog if you wish! A perfect staycation getaway.
I stayed here back in November 2019, so I am a returning customer. Skerries is a lovely town and The Redbank Guesthouse fits right in there. It's convenient and reasonably priced. It's a short walk to the centre of the town and to the harbour. It is clean and tidy. It provides a good breakfast and the owner is friendly. When I am travelling for work in Dublin I will definitely stay there again.
Lovely comfortable apartment in Skerries! Easy code access via message. Location & views perfect, also everything you need for a great stay, including a washing machine which was very handy as we had been travelling for a few weeks with more weeks to do. Just down the road had a delicious dinner at Stoop Your Head and great coffee and breakfast at Goat in the Boat. Love this place!
The Redbank is a well established guesthouse, situated in a beautiful old building, on Church Street, Skerries. While the location is central, this area of town is quiet. There is paid parking on the street outside, but this is free on Sundays.

Staff were excellent, really nice and friendly.
Clean.
Kid friendly.
Quirky.
Cheaper than most hotels. €roughly 300 for 2 adults and a kid for 2 nights)
