I've stayed in most of the hotels in Waterford City and this is by far the best. Lovely friendly staff, all of them, a very clean room with everything we needed, we even had a lovely view of the river, and the seating area outside the bar looking over the river is spacious and perfect day or night :) The hotel is also very central with a short walk to pretty much anywhere in the city!

The setting is just absolutely beautiful. The hotel has a lovely charm. We were a little disappointed by the service level from the gold club, but the hotel staff made up for that. Especially the staff that served us at breakfast, greeting you by your name! Old world hospitality at it's best.

Very clean - my 'rhino' brain was very happy! Toiletries, bedding facilities were as promised on the website. Breakfast was good and at a good price. I stayed in room 416. Was quiet and slept well at night. Staff were super friendly. Particularly at the front desk, and the pretty young lady who was also at the desk during my checkout on the 31st May morning. Her patience and co-operation made my life a lot easier where I was having to use the office card in a different currency, and took a while and some effort. Thank you! They were also very kind and provided correct and precise information whenever I asked.
