My friends breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately I selected the fresh fish which was dry. It needed a sauce.

This is a paradise set well away from the husle and busle of life.
It's charms are the staff the dogs, ducks and peacocks. But friends you need to experience the garden to reflect on the shear beauty it all. The breakfast was fantastic.

Stayed here for a wedding at Macreddin Village. Great hosts, great breakfast, great B&B.
A quiet village in the heart of the Wicklow mountains.
A quiet village in the heart of the Wicklow mountains. Close to Rathdrum, Avondale (which we visited for the Above the Trees walk). It's not too far from Glendalough and very close to Avoca - Meeting of the Waters. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Fine location, very friendly host .
Fine Irish breakfast.
Just one point to mention for dinner you need to drive a few kilometres further , there is one restaurant (from hotel) in the neighbourhood but have not always free table due to reservation of hotel guests .

I want to go back.
I want to go back. A wonderful old house in the country, not far from Aughrim. Beautiful countryside, amazing views from the house. The house is immaculate and interesting. Svetlana and Jeff have loved this house and it shows. Everything is chic, unique and amazing. This is not a hotel it is a piece of history and is so comfortable. I am going back in the summer to lounge on the deck and watch the sunset over the wicklow mountains.

Aughrim lovingly maintains its status as a beautiful Tidy...
Aughrim lovingly maintains its status as a beautiful Tidy Town. It is also friendly and provides all of the basics. More dining options are not far away in and around Arklow on the sea. The walks in and near the village are stunning, and run the gamut of difficulty.
Martin has an amazing set up, he was an amazing host and very welcoming. The pods were so cozy and comfortable. The view is amazing. It was a lovely spot for a night away. There are kitchen facilities there and communal shower/toilet facilities. There is only one but don’t let that set you back. Very secure and safe place. Will definitely be staying again in the future! Just to note if you’re staying for a little break away there is no food delivery in Aughrim! Be prepared to drive 5 minutes back to the town. Thank you Martin.
Nice location proximate to the Wicklow Mountains, where we enjoyed hiking. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodated our preference to change rooms at check in. While staying here, we accessed hikes at Glendalough and Lugnaquilla - very scenic! The lodging is part of a working farm and we were delighted to see the new lambs in the adjacent fields. Breakfast was very good with French press coffee and a full traditional Irish breakfast among the options.
The room was very spacious and the bathroom was lovely. We had a great breakfast in the morning with time slots for different guests, which was very Covid aware. The grounds were great to explore too. The hotel advertises itself as dog friendly, which is true as they have three dogs themselves. I like dogs but this hotel might not be for people who have a fear of dogs.
Exceptionally clean and comfortable room. Very friendly hosts. Nice breakfast. Set in a beautiful location near the Wicklow mountains. There is a lovely old ruined church beside the B & B. Aughrim is a short 5 minute drive away or about a 30 minute walk along a nice country road.
Staff were great. Reception, Spa and Amarento waiting staff were all good and friendly. The non-spa pool was very nice, and the spa was nice too. The grounds are fantastic, and we enjoyed spending time with the hens. The bars and restaurants and outside areas are also great.
we brought our puppy 🐶 and the hotel couldn’t of done enough to make him feel special! they let us bring him into the bar into a snug area for dinner. our point of our stay was for our puppy to have a night/day away with us and it was so lovely he could be us all day
Aughrim is a picturesque and peaceful village close to nature in the heart of the Wicklow mountains. The hotel has a long history but despite being 'old' the shower and facilities were up-to-date and functioning. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Beautiful & peaceful surroundings. The buildings and grounds are gorgeous from the outside
The bedroom was a great size, the bar and restaurants were cosy. The spa was average.
The food in both restaurants was great but....
Catherine was a lovely house manager and is a credit to Trident. She had info for us on local amenities and showed us around the house. The nearby lake was a lovely feature and Aughrim is a lovely village.
It's a splendid hotel in a very nice spot. We did a lot of hiking in Wicklow and this point was very convenient. They also served a delicious, homemade breakfast.
I loved the setting of the hotel. The grounds were extensive. Our rooms were gorgeous & had all the little luxuries included which make the experience wonderful.
Very welcoming staff beautiful old hotel full of charm and personality. I would really love to visit again. 10/10 restaurant was fabulous food was fantastic.
