The view on the room was lovely, it faced the marina and the sea. The bed was super comfortable and the room quiet allowing a great night sleep. The facilities are great, the beach was clean, indoor pool was great for the cold, while the outdoor pool had a fantastic view of the sea and enough places to sunbath. The staff were great, extremely friendly and nice.

The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8)...
The main coast road between Split and Dubrovnik (route 8) runs through Podstrana so it can be quite busy at times. However there are some really nice places to eat such as Hotel Eden and restaurant Arkada, both of which are mid-price range (but expensive if you have wine), but worth a visit at least once. Less expensive local eateries are about, but we were only there for 3 nights and made the most of it. There are several supermarkets along the main road for groceries etc. Most of the "beach" area appears to be pebbly/rocky, although we did not explore very far from our hotel. There is a main bus route through Podstrana which links it with Split centre. Due to personal circumstances we did not venture very far so are unable to rate other possible attractions in the town.

Domacini su vise nego ljubazni i vode racuna da gostu nista ne nedostaje. Hrana ukusna i veoma dobar i velik izbor. Rado cu se opet vratiti u ovaj objekat koji zaslužuje najvisu ocjenu . I was staying just 2 nights so mainly relaxing. LOcation is good for exploring surroundings. I was hoping to go horse-riding on the mountains,but time was too short. I can only guess that it was the time of year but there were very few restaurants or bars open. The ride to the centre of Split is about 20 minutes in a taxi - we did attempt to walk on day but certainly for the first 3 to 4 km, there was no footpath. love podstrana if u want a calm vacation. its the best beach in split area if u want something where it is not over crowded. would stay here again. tried more beached closer to split and i will never go back there. smells like urin, and is very dirty so would for sure stay in podstrana.AuroraNorway

The breakfast was delicious, Mira and her staff her so kind and welcoming. the views were amazing and we were right on the beach. We were also very close to many restaurants and the local store if we needed anything. you will need to bring shampoo/conditioner and body wash for after the first day but honestly every hotel in Europe is that way so we were prepared. The value for where we stayed was amazing and our group of 8 was highly happy with everything! we will absolutely stay there again!

Beach very close by and a wide range of restaurants and cafes. The host, Lada, was unbelievable with us and very friendly. We were a group of 10 boys who had come from hideout festival for a couple days extra in Split, and it was perfect for us. The bus goes from Podstrana every half an hour and the last bus is at 12am back. If you miss the bus you can also get an Uber or taxi for 200 kuna which is perfect between 4 people!

The beach is also beautiful and the staff is super nice! it was my birthday and they made sure to give me a complimentary drink! Great cost x benefit comparing to split hotels.. it’s a bit further from split so having a car with you is perfect if you also want to enjoy the city, and the hotel provides parking space. Used the spa, had nails done there too. Pool and beach fantastic. Short ride to all the sites to see in and around Split (which you MUST SEE). We have traveled the world and this is one of our favorite places. In addition to seeing Diocletian's Palace make sure you go to Trogir and Klis Castle.
