Used my husband's account to book this location. Hence the Christo name. I traveled to this location with my sister to fulfill a 30 year dream to come to Kythera. This hotel was just the best! The sea view, the breakfast with local, fresh ingredients, the hotel condition and the absolutely wonderful staff. They could not have been nicer people and so caring of any need that we had. Telis and Zina were such warm people who really wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.
We just loved every minute! Thank you Anesis Hotel!

Everyone was so nice. We checked in on the late side and said we didn't need anything but were still surprised with a lovely platter of watermelon that we enjoyed on our balcony. Breakfast was also great. The pool was very nice.

Brand new, modern apartment. Very tastefully decorated. Super comfortable beds. It looks exactly like the photos the sweet, wonderful owner, Konstadina, has posted on the website. She had some traditional local goodies waiting for us and gave us our privacy, but was also very attentive to making sure we were comfortable and not lacking anything. Konstandina was also a great resource for suggesting things to do, beaches, monasteries, tavernas….We spent 4 nights on Kythera, with a rented car, which was enough time for us to explore the entire island. Highly recommend Alsea Apartments!

The perfect beach side holiday for those wanting to avoid hordes of tourists. Lots of options for eating out and all within easy walking distance. Plenty of nice beaches and a friendly, relaxing vibe everywhere we went. So many other attractions on the island that it's worth hiring a car - easy drive from Pelagia to Potamos, Kapsali and other beautiful locations on the island.

We fell in love with the island and could have stayed much longer. So much natural beauty, wonderful beaches, charming villages, great tavernas. We did a lot of swimming in the sea, so many beaches to choose from (we liked Loukidimis Paleopolis and Fourni especially). Swimming in the grotto at Avelamos was another highlight. Also enjoyed just driving through the countryside and stoping in town squares along the way to eat and explore shops. Mylopotomas was our favorite village, eat at the taverna in the center of town. Enchanting. The view from the castle in Chora is spectacular. We appreciated that the island was not over run by tourists. Our accommodations at Castri Village were so comfortable and the hosts were very kind and helpful. It was so easy to walk down to the village and enjoy. We ate every night on the beach in Agia Pelagia. Amazing ambiance, food and hospitality.

I've been going to Agia Pelagia since a little girl and have watched its transformation from a simple fishing village with nothing to do after 6:00p.m. to an active community with many restaurants, music, friendly people, deliciously real Greek food and dance. A celebration every summer evening. Great organized beach (Umbrellas, lounges & service).

Found that most - but not all - beach bars rented their sunbeds with parasoll for EUR 10, regardless of wether you were a customer to the bar, alone, came late in the afternoon, it was windy with no swimming possibilities, no other customers etc. And that goes for all of Kythera (with one exception). I don't mind paying for shade, a chair and WC, but EUR 10 for 2 hours when I have just eaten a salad in their bar! The beaches are free, and many wonderful, so I just hope for the bar keepers sake that they figure out how to get me and others as their customers. Basically Agia Pelagia is a good base camp, but you need a car to explore Kythera and visit all the wonderful beaches around the island.

For Kythira this is a beach town that actually has somewhat of a village fealing to it. It is still very small and only offers a few restaurants and beach bars. But the bars offer quality coffee, cocktails and food.
The beach is very nice and quite big. Mixed peddles and sand. Great swim.
There were two places for parasols at the beach. We went only to one ones and had to pay a ridiculous amount of 10 Euros. Way too much and for me enough reason to not return.

We just loved every minute! Thank you Anesis Hotel!
The provided breakfasts were prepared by Stella using home grown & locally produced ingredients. The options varied each day of our stay.
Stella's son Stathis was a welcoming & supportive host who goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. Stathis provided detailed guide notes to assist our exploration of the island & also recommendations of cafes & restaurants to visit.
The apartments were fastidiously clean, & the food prepared & served hygienically.
We loved the location it was right opposite the beach and restaurants- was perfect for our stay. The accommodation was well equipped for self catering and the air con was quiet and there was a smart TV which was a bonus. Also it was the most comfortable bed we slept on during our entire stay on different islands in Greece. We enjoyed it and would come again.
Beautiful place next to the beach, I would recommend it to everyone since some of the most beautiful beaches are 5-10min drive from the apartment. Also if you don't have transportation, the beach next to the house is quiet and perfect for swimmers.
The staff was very helpful an polite and were always willing to help you with tips for the island. The area was quite but also easily accessible, rooms were super clean.
The breakfast was also a plus, especially the handmade cakes and "rizogalo"!
Newly built apartments, comfortable, well arranged, squeaky clean, spacious, and well equipped. The host, Mrs. Konstantina was welcoming, eager to assist, and provide everything we needed. The beach was very close and easy to access.
Great location next to a lovely beach and not too far from restaurants and coffee shops. Self-catering works, there are a couple of shops at walking distance and larger supermarkets a not-too-long drive away.
great location for exploring the north of the island and within walking distance to beach shops and restaurants.
Tula was the perfect host.
we loved the traditional property and would come back again
Minutes walk to beach and cafes/restaurant on the beach. Good size room and Balcony.
Breakfast was a nice buffet.
Air conditioning was excellent.
Beautiful view from balcony.
All family enjoyed the large spaces, the cleanliness and the beach in front of the house. Very easy to find the house. Easy to take the keys. The whole experience was PERFECT.
Very good location. Spacy room. Tasty breakfast.
The hotel's owner and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. They made us immediately feel like at home.
The room was very comfortable, daily cleaning, balcony with sun beds, comfortable beds, very friendly staff, in walking distance from beach and restaurants.
