Recently refurbished by the look of it. Beautiful building inside, all new paintwork and the hotel and room were very clean. All staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Comfy bed with great facilities in the room. Couldn't fault our stay, will definitely be going back.

Shower was very nice and hot. There was parking. Allowed me to stay an extra half hour after check out. Seemed dog friendly. Room was big and with all facilities in it.

Situated in Cayton, Poacher's Barn has a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. On-site parking is available for hotel guests. Double Rooms have shared bathroom facilities.

It’s a locals pub with a few bedrooms, looks like 2 bedrooms per shared bathroom. It was basic but very clean and a comfortable bed. It helped having a sink in the bedroom. Plenty of parking , friendly staff. It’s a budget priced room so can’t expect luxury but it had tea/coffee making facilities. Overall I was happy with it . There is a large lounge/dining area again clean and tidy and I guess if a group or family staying it would be great to use

For a small one-person room, it was a really good one! Everything was well placed so no lack of space, bed was comfy, temperature was good, and the shower was huge! Alfie and the folks working there are really nice and were always attentive to anything I needed. If you're travelling solo for a few days and fancy a visit to Scarborough, hugely recommended.
