We have stayed at the Powfoot hotel before it’s a lovely hotel in a lovely location. Best breakfast ever with lots of choices. Also had dinner there which was also excellent.

Friendly welcome from Nigel who turned out to be the tireless barman, waiter, breakfast server, etc., etc. Don't know how he did it keeping up the cheerful bonhomie all the time!
The other 'secret weapon' of the Cressfield was the chef who provided such a range of food to such a high standard. Evening meal (and breakfast) were better than anticipated.
