Extraordinary stay, in a wonderful B&B overlooking the bay - what else to ask for!! The house is absolutely beautiful, the room was massive and beautifully furnished. We had a big balcony with a dreamy view on the bay, and the service! Sheila made sure we were well looked after, and even waited for us even though we arrived later than expected. Make sure you save time for the breakfast, you cannot miss out on the food! Everything about this stay was so perfect and peaceful, I cannot recommend it enough!! Highlight of the stay as mentioned was the view, and the bed!! Probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. If you are in the area and are looking for a place to stay, no need to further look because this is it! Absolutely loved it, and Sheila will make sure you have the best stay possible!

The proprietors Euan & Emma were excellent company and very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel had an excellent menu with accompanying wines, beers, spirits, if required. The hotel also had an extensive range of locally-produced spirits. The accommodation was excellent and well-equipped. The only down-side was the lack of TV reception - although being without TV was somewhat of a blessing!

We even had help with our luggage which we weren't expecting.. Lovely large double room with TV and tea, coffee, & hot chocolate making facilities. and ensuite shower, & WC. It was great to have our own space and not at all like an old fashioned B&B. We were asked what time we'd like a table for breakfast and then left to our own devices. We had a front room, large with a generous sized wet room, the view from our room was over fields and we had a perfect sunset. Graham has put as many useful items in room as possible and more for cleaning bikes, cars - whatever. Breakfast was nicely cooked and generous. Super friendly host.

The location worked for me, although it is a bit of a drive from Thurso town center, but close to other sites that were more important to me!!!
