The room was nice and big, was lovely and clean, bed was comfortable.
All the staff were all really friendly, helped with any queries, and things we needed.
We visited a nature reserve a few minutes away from the hotel which was worth the stay in it's self, beautiful area.

Set in Llangristiolus, 24 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway, Holland arms hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.
You will hand over £184 to the hotel.
Make sure you ask for towels &robes to use the spa.
Also a locker key.
When you get in the spa,the jacuzzi you have looked forward to getting into, during your hard week at work.
Will be Luke warm.
A member of staff will then tell you its closed.
For no apparent reason ....
You will then get out&use the changing room shower for some warmth ,instead.
Many times the steam room or sauna will also be closed, or not working.
Breakfast time:- The staff will not speak &its difficult to get them to realise you want serving &want your order taking .
Be sure to ask for coffee ,because they won't offer&barely speak a word.
They will not offer to help ,or ask how you would like your eggs. They struggle to want to bother to fill the fresh orange.
Then, when the breakfast arrives-it won't look like you expected-think sausages uncooked etc..
You will be happy to leave the room key at reception.
Having decided to spend £184, somewhere you are acknowledged accordingly&treated as a guest .

I posted a bad review of this hotel because it was shut because of Storm Gerrit and they did not let me know.
I realise now that I was harsh and the owner has since telephoned and explained that they were short-staffed and because of the extreme weather conditions there was a failing in communication.
I shall certainly book again as it sounds lovely and I apologise for my bad review since we did not stay there

Easy town to travel to and from on Anglesey. Very good range of shops everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We have visited many times before as we have friends who have enjoyed living in Llangefni for nearly 30 years.

We stayed 2 nights just outside of Llangefni and only visited the town briefly. The reason for the visit was to go to Nant Y Pandy - the Dingle - to see red squirrels. Parking in the town centre right by the entrance to the park for a small parking charge, The boardwalk trail was very accessible although a little rickety in places. And boy did we see red squirrels! Up close to the boardwalk, total joy. The site has a volunteer squirrel whisper - William Roberts - who walks in the park twice a day now he's retired. He really made our visit with his friendly chat about the red squirrel population in Nant Y Pandy and Anglesey as a whole, we came away better informed and with smiles on our faces! William feeds the squirrels everyday at 3pm, unfortunately we were unable to stay for that. Well worth a visit particularly as we didn't spot any reds at Newborough forest and only 2 at Plas Newydd. Also walked out to the reservoir and watched the birds there. Well worth a visit.

Did not spend much time in Llangefni.
Did not spend much time in Llangefni. Out and about in Anglesey most of the time, but Llangefni is a good place to stay for exploring Anglesey.
There are 4 or 5 supermarkets for stocking up (Asda, Lidl, Aldi etc).
Thomas the Butcher for fresh meat and the Avondale Café does a mega breakfast.
The property is a good size, in a central location to access Llangefni, the A55, Anglesey as a whole and Snowdonia. The driveway had ample parking for two cars and a third could park on street if needed. Bedrooms of a good size, third bedroom lacking storage but still enough space for two beds. Check in/out very straightforward with a key box. All communication from land lady helpful and again straightforward. Comfortable beds, sofas and chairs in dining room. Towels and bed linen were of a high standard.
The room was better than the photographs, it was super modern and contemporary, very tastefully furnished with everything we needed. A nice unexpected touch was fresh milk in the fridge, bread butter, jams and marmalade. And a large choice of tea that would grace most top hotels.
Oh and yes, the great reviews online are very true.
We will definitely be back.
The location is great, near town but not too near. Easy access to all the attractions of Anglesey, most less than half an hour in the car. Clean and well equipped and lovely to wake up and see the countryside (and inquisitive rams) from the bedroom window. Friendly hosts as well, which is always lovely.
Everything about the place was first class. Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal perfect and breakfast equally good. Couldn't fault the place at all. Although I think hotel prices are generally too expensive these days, this was very good value for money. Well done to all who work there.
New owners have taken over the hotel, and seem hugely enthuasistic and friendly. My room was a good size, with the bathroom the same size again. It was functional and practical and clean. I'd also booked the wrong Bull Hotel, but the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome.
The full cooked breakfast was well presented and huge. Our evening meal on Sunday night was really tasty and there was a good choice on the menu.
The spa facilities were fabulous and we enjoyed a good two hours alternating between the pool, the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
We enjoyed having breakfast every morning. The portions were huge and balanced. I had salmon with scrambled eggs. My husband had full English breakfast.
The wildlife around the hotel is fantastic. Early in the morning we spotted a hare, a red squirrel and a buzzard.
The location is what we loved the most! It was so easy to get anywhere on Anglesey! I don't think we had to drive much more than thirty to forty minutes in any direction to get to any of the sights or beaches on the island!
nice location. Easy parking. Pleasant staff. Tasty food, breakfast very good albeit slightly small portion size. For once a remote hotel with decent wifi. Huge window that opens wide. Generally a good looking hotel.
Great location, wouldn't even know the factories are there.
The house is clean and spacious and has all you need.
The basket of goodies is a lovely touch and was much appreciated.
Perfect for exploring Anglesey.
It's very good breakfast and the location is good which is close to the ferry. The hotel guys were waiting for us to early morning to check-in and gave us very clear direction......etc
Great location for exploring all of Anglesey. Nearby car park free for Blue Badge holders, an unexpected benefit. Amazed to find 5G cellular coverage - first time seen in North Wales!
Lovely hotel, but was under the impression when checking in that breakfast was included - it was not. Would definitely avoid the breakfast as they charged an extra £30 for it.
