The Granola Bowl for breakfast was the best granola I've ever had - that's no exaggeration. I had it both mornings of my stay. The little village was lovely and quite and had a great dog walk close by.

CHarming and quaint village near Tackley, the village I grew up in. The walk to Tackley past the canal and river is lovely and barely changed in 50 years. The village pub "The Oxford Arms" does a couple of decent real ales and nice food.
The location was ideal for our visit to Kirtlington manor, which was within a comfortable walking distance from the pub.
The Egyptian cotton bed linen was soft and pleasant to sleep in; the room and shower room were very clean and the king-size bed was comfortable. However, the pillows were exceedingly soft, which resulted in a stiff neck in the morning.
Access to the room was via a pin code emailed to my phone, which made our late access trouble free.
