Very friendly staff, felt welcome. Good sized room, comfortable bed, nice sized shower. Ate in the bar at night, good choice of food, had the home made pie (was a special) that was delicious.
Very handy for the motorway, but despite being so close not noticeable.
Was only staying as a stop off on the way home, but will stay again when travelling to Scotland in future.

Linda who runs the hotel was so welcoming and kind. She went above and beyond to be helpful especially as my dad was unwell. She washed clothes for him made arrangements for taxis. We couldn't have asked for any better.

The hotel was lovely we paid extra to upgrade but unfortunately the spa bath was to high and as we are pensioners this was no good a shame really as it was something we wanted in the room. Hotel apart from that was lovely and wish we had booked for an extra night. Food was lovely would definately recommend. Was a 5 minute walk to Gretna Gateway and althought this was a nice place to look around I found it hadnt really changed since i was there 12 years ago. All in all lovely nights stay. Breakfast was plentiful but there was only one waitress serving and our table was not cleared all the time we had breakfast we felt sorry for the waitress as she was run off her feet so maybe an extra person would of helped. Would stay again though

The Gretna Chase hotel is easy to find & access & very polite staff. a pleasant 5 minute walk takes you to the Outlet retail shopping which again is beautiful & clean with a number of perfect shops for all. The Old Smithy to visit is a must with a number of foreign visitors enjoying the museum & the resident bagpipes.
Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Hotel is clean and we'll presented. Our room was fantastic, very comfortable bed in a large room, with a sofa and armchairs and a table, very comfortable. Everything spotless and we'll presented. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good quality and we'll presented. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Cooked breakfast was lovely and plenty to eat. I would definitely stay again and can recommend to others
The hotel upgraded us on our last night in Scotland to the Romeo and Juliet room. It was a wonderful way to end our 40th Wedding Anniversary trip to Scotland! We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel both were great. We loved the old pictures of when Gretna was the "Las Vegas" of the old days. We also enjoyed the modern pictures or all the weddings at Gretna Chase.
The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. The bar service and menu for dinner were excellent for our needs. The hotel has easy access exiting and returning to the motorway. We were breaking our long journey so the location was a bonus whilst the hotel is set in lovely grounds and quiet.
Stayed here as an overnight stop off while travelling, nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was large, comfortable with both a bath and separate shower. A good selection at breakfast of yoghurts, cereals, fruit, cooked breakfast, pastries and juice. Would stay here again
Spotlessly clean and has everything you would need to self cater. The location is excellent, being right next to the train station and a very short walk to the Gretna Hall Hotel. Very friendly owners. The welcome pack of milk, juice butter etc was a nice surprise.
Lovely welcoming hosts. Beautiful bungalow, well presented, and all the facilities you could ask for. Extra items for the baby were much appreciated. Peaceful location but within walking distance of Gretna. Highly recommend.
lovely room with plenty of drawer and cupboard space and excellent en suite shower room. I was intrigued by having two wash hand basins in the same bathroom! Is it a Gretna tradition? Helpful, courteous staff and good food.
The location to Gretna Green was ideal for us. The house was a nice size and cozy.
The complimentary treats were a nice touch and also the dog box with towels and poo bags was also very considerate and helpful.
