Staff were lovely, food exceptional. Place great. Only thing was the traffic on the road outside was noisy and hotel might have provided earplugs when I mentioned it ☺️

The staff were fantastic. They went above and beyond to help me with my heavy luggage as I had had an accident and hurt my back. They were always very friendly and willing to help me in any way to make life easier for me.

No curtains at the bedroom window. Lacking in pillows, and whatever offered were poor. Staff slept there maybe they should go for a walk prior to starting work to gee them up. Also use of bathroom prior to serving paying guests would have been preferred. Hygiene low priority here. Shame really. No evening food, good pub across the road. Breakfast ok but felt queasy due to lack of staff hygeine.

Beautiful place, bedroom was spotlessly clean and the shower superb! Was given a very warm welcome and shown to my room on arrival and asked if I needed anything. There was a band on which was an added bonus but no noise could be heard in the bedroom. I opted for a bacon roll for breakfast as I didn't think I could eat a cooked breakfast, I saw staff bringing out the cooked breakfasts, they were huge! The bacon roll was also huge with lots of tasty bacon, they source local food which is great too. The morning coffee was delicious! Loved it, would definitely stay again and certainly recommend, thank you!
