the hotel was beautifully furnished and very comfortable with a lovely roaring fire in the lounge.It was in a very isolated position with no facilities near so the hotel was the only choice for dining. Chapel of Garioch is only a few houses with not much to see but the scenery round about was lovely.

The only little downside was the food was a little on the expensive side however it was excellent quality and the service was brilliant. Will definitely be back.
