Spacious room in a lovely period property. Comfortable beds and a good sized modern bathroom. Food generally was excellent with a good English breakfast. Had mains on the first evening which were very good and smoaked salmon sandwiches for lunch on the 3rd day which also were excellent. Staff, particularly at lunch, were both friendly and helpful.

A very comfortable place to stay. I don’t always sleep well away from home but did here. The bed was very comfy, the aircon good and it was nice to have a smart tv in the room. It was nice and quiet, although we didn’t stay during one of the tribute nights I know they have on some weekends. Overall it was a good stay, very good value and I would stay again.

Breakfast was good and I loved the three choices I had while there, and the pastries were lovely. BUT see below. The location was great for us as we were part of a group using the village hall very close by. The room was lovely as were the facilities. The staff were always helpful and friendly so no complaints about them.
