Excellent view of a Golden statue in the town, very close to the centre and a pleasant garden to sit in on the one dry day :)
All facilities are provided but stop off at the Carrefour in the market square en route from the station for the essentials, milk fruit juice bread etc

Sadly we only made an overnight stay so saw only a limited amount of the town. Its riverside walks looked beautiful and the old buildings interesting. Much more to xplore in this charming town i am sure.

Lovely old riverside town, a hidden gem. Beautiful and well preserved buildings, but not too chi-chi. It seems to have escaped the ravages of too much tourism. The only disappointment was the limited selection of restaurants.

We were pleased to find cold water in our room when we arrived. We did not eat at the hotel until our final morning breakfast. It was very good and plenty of it. Going to breakfast took us into the dining rooms for the first time. They were beautifully furnished and very clean. There is a small pool available which was marvellous in the heat.

Accommodation was beautifully decorated, extremely comfy bed and property itself large and spacious. Garden and pool area exceeded our expectations. Larger than we had thought, with plenty of seating and so guests able to spread around the garden and find your own little quiet space. There was also the added bonus of being able to order refreshments from the garden bar/cafe.

We did not take advantage of any available facilities, and did not take breakfast there, so cannot moment on those aspects. Although it is a rather complicated place to find, an excellent map provided by the hotel proved invaluable.

The staff were kind and gave us extra bedding 🥶. We had an excellent dinner in the hotel.
