I have stayed in many self catering properties in Spain but this without doubt is the best one so far. The property was just perfect in every way, cleanliness, equipment, furniture, wi-fi, TV, balcony, decoration etc etc. There is nothing that I would fault and as this was a stop over the fact that I could park directly outside the property was a big bonus. The one thing that I would warn anyone about is that this property is situated in a quiet and relatively small area and if you want night life then this is not for you but if you want somewhere to relax in luxury after a busy days driving or site seeing then you will have to go a long way to beat this, just pick up a ready meal on the way back then life will be totally complete.

Hotel Zentral Mayoral, located just in front of the bus terminal, 200 metres from Puerta de Bisagra and a 2-minute walk from the escalators to Zocodover Square, is centrally located in Toledo.

An enormous room with an equally enormous terrace with view across the river and to the old town with table and chairs. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet with hot, cold, savoury and sweet options; a delight. Dinner this year was better than the year before; good produce well cokked. The menu included water and a bottle of wine for 2. Located 2 minutes from a free car park, 5 minutes walk from the escaltors that take you up to the old town and 10 minutes from the train station. The staff are exceptional.

Set in a renovated 17th-century bakery, Hotel Pintor El Greco is located 50 metres from the El Greco Museum in Toledo’s historic Jewish quarter.

We stayed in a huge room (quadruple), with 2 comfortable bathrooms, each contained toilet and bath with the jacuzzi (though we didn't use the jacuzzi), comfortable beds. Very cute design that combined the authentic old building with the new elements. Very nice neighborhood, in a walk distance from main town attractions.

Hotel Cigarral el Bosque is 2 km from Toledo Cathedral, just across the River Tajo. It offers superb views of the historic city centre, an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi.

The location and it had parking, and also the staff were very friendly.

This charming hotel, whose garden area is surrounded by an original 11th-Century Arab wall, rests a few metres from the escalator that leads to the city centre.

it was not obivous where the hotel actually was while driving. Signage could be improved -the carpark detracts from the access and seeing the signage

Every member of the team at the Eugenia de Montijo were cheerful, obliging and lovely. This was a fantastic base to explore and enjoy the remarkable old town area of Toledo. Loved the cocktails too!
