The breakfast was amazing!! There was an omelette , different kinds of sausages , very delicious pies. The room was cozy and well cleaned. I liked being there .Oh.. and don’t forget swimsuit . There is a small swimming pool and sauna. The hotel is not far from Konigssee, only 7 mit by bus . The bus stop was near the hotel , just cross the road.

Loved everything. Cosy & modern, perfect for a small family or for a couple or alone. Everything is easily accessible and easy to use. Nice supermarkets in Berchtesgaden. Beautiful view all around. Too many places to go and check.

It's a nice place, but the weather was a total gamble.
It's a nice place, but the weather was a total gamble. We in Ramsau for four days and it rained all the time. We had planned to hike Hocheck Watzmann, but we could only partially do it until Watzmannhaus. The route for it however was very beautiful! One can also visit the beautiful Wimbachklamm gorge in Ramsau(for a fee of 2 euros). Another small and peaceful place is the Hintersee. One can see the mighty Hochkalter in the background. We also explored the region of Konigssee, Obersee and Jenner, which were quite beautiful.

small town but full of History and many awesome places to visit, either by walking, driving or taking the bus there is so much to see and do in the town, the mountain views is fascinating, the roads lead to other sights that are worth the time there.

The municipality of Ramsau together with certain guest house and hotel gives the traveller some daily itinerary based on the weather (guests can surely have their own plans but its a nice idea). Our itinerary was always kept on our breakfast table. It is a nice way to promote the are and keep the guests guessing on what will be the next adventure

It is conveniently located right next to a bus stop (bus 846 from Berchtesgaden). Host Geraldine was very nice and helpful. For the area the price is reasonable. There is no breakfast, but upon request you can have fresh Brötchen in the morning. The room description doesn't say, but there is also all you need to make coffee and tea, as well as a fridge that guests can use (but no cooking facilities proper).Cat JoeCanada

It's a 100+ years old property and they provide all basic amenities. The host is extremely helpful and welcoming. Very cozy, bright, clean, and warm, way better than my previous stay in Hallstatt. Nice internet connections in such rural country side (I had my telcon in the morning smoothly). The host doesn't speak much English but was very kind. You need to pay 50% via bank transfer in advance but it is very worthy to do so for a lovely stay in here.
