Breakfast was excellent--its adjacent to their coffee shop and bakery so plenty of food and variety of it is available. Overall nice and current design for a two-story quint business hotel. Our room was very spacious, and comfy, also clean (beds are new!) Very welcoming and kind personnel is running it--very attentive owner too! Everything we asked for or needed, was immediately tended to and taken seriously and with all kindness and efforts to please us. Plenty of parking, good vibe, positive energy and good scent as well! perfect location if you have a car or if you want to reach the main train station to go to Muenich (20 minutes on foot or less by bus). Spotlessly clean. Helpful and nice personnel. Great breakfast and lunch.

Dachau is too small to stay in for the night or nights ...
Tour of the prisoner camp was usefull ... Tour guides are distorting the facts making Germany alot worse .. it was a prisoner camp .... during wars ... facts no more or less.
Touring children or students is not a good idea ... it is a horrible idea to be introduced to violance at that age ... ...
The castle was a great spot ... the old town ... need better infrastructure ...
Food was merely to meet the hunger ... busses are available ... routes are confusing in such a small place .
One time visit is more than enough.

Dachau is the place where the very first Nazi Concentration Camp has been built. It was an example camp for all other concentration camps within Nazi-Germany. I think every person should once visit Dachau or a different concentration camp city to understand in what luxury we live today and how cruel humans can be during times of war. And of course also to pay respect to all the victims from the Nazi era.
What I also liked was the public transportation within Dachau. It is simple to get around. Especially the proximity to Munich is great.

Dachau is a historical town on the suburbs of Munich and is easily reached by public transport.
Like virtually every German town it is clean and safe.
I would recommend a visit to the Altstadt and the memorial to those who lost their lives in the concentration camp.

Unfortunately the owners of the restaurant in the front of...
Unfortunately the owners of the restaurant in the front of the same building as the pension do not like the owners of the pension. So we got an earful twice by them because we were asking them questions.
Olympia owners were not on site and left no specific guidelines for us/the guests. It was dark when we arrived and there was no sign outside to tell us where the pension was. So we asked the restaurant owners. They are sick of all the questions from people about the pension since they are not the owners of the pension.
We finally saw that there was an 8 x 10 piece of paper on a door at the back of the building identifying it as Olympia.
So we went up the steps and saw that there were numbers on doors and keys hanging in the doors, but we had no clue which one was ours. And, calling out for someone got no response.
So, we started opening doors & found one that fit what we requested, so started to settle in. About 20 to 30 minutes later someone knocked on our door who could barely speak English and had no clue why we were there. She never identified herself but appeared to possibly be a cleaning lady. She got a man to help with English, which was only some better. They placed a phone call to the owners, whom we had tried to call three times - from the number in our confirmation email. We found out that the number was for the restaurant, & they just said “wrong number”.
The phone resulted in us being told we were in the wrong room & they moved us. It was frustrating and unnecessary for two travelers who were already very weary from a long, long trip.
We did get food at the Hot Spot restaurant at the front of the building, and it was very good. The people were kind to us but very vocal and unhappy about the owners of the pension.
The bus line was close and worked for us. We were only in Dachau to spend the night and keep moving.

We stopped in Dachau then on to Austria to meet up with family, but tried to stay longer but they were booked and no wonder, wonderful place to stay - so accomodating - loved the people - so helpful in every way - loved the train but if you never traveled in Germany - people offer their help - you may need it
We were told that the hotel was fully booked because of the system problem. But we were asked to change into another hotel called Hotel Modi, I have to say, this was the best stay I ever have in Germany when I traveled because this is beyond good! the staff, the location just next to bus station, even the facility, they have a gym, the bed, yes the bed so comfortable!
The location is perfect for someone wanting to explore Munich without paying Munich prices. It is just 20 minutes on the SS-Bahn from the Main Station. The hotel is clean and the rooms serviced properly everyday. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast simple but ample and the restaurant excellent. Really good value for money.
The location was fantastic. Walk to many restaurants. Free parking lot very close by. Staff was fabulous! - helpful, friendly. Cafe at hotel was perfect for drink and dessert after our travels. 7 minute drive to Dachau Concentration camp, which was great. Rooms were clean and very nice.
Good location, next to the railway station, Munich can be reached in 20 minutes. Cozy and clean room, wide range of food and beverages at the breakfast and in the restaurant and the food quality was also good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I liked the simple way of booking, checking-in, staying and checking-out. Everything went smooth and without any complication. And finally a hotel room without a desk (in times of tablets and mobile phones, who needs a desk in a hotel room?)
Lovely staff and a great breakfast. Nice location near the old part of town and about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The area a short walk up the hill was lovely for an evening meal with plenty of restaurants and a nice atmosphere.
Set in a very quiet street, close to the pretty centre of Dachau, the hotel is a small family run business with small but adequate rooms, en suite facilities, and reasonable breakfast.
Our go to hotel for Dachau - great hotel with restaurant and bar. Great location opposite the train and bus station. Plenty of alternative restaurants if you need a change
A lovely place. Very comfortable for a family and peaceful, yet close to Munich and other attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Own transport is essential though.
