The view from the window and terrace was amazing. The owner was very friendly. There was a fine parking spot. The breakfast was late but good. We got very good homemade marmalades.

The view was spectacular. It was a bit of a walk to market so probably would need a car. We had a friend with a car.

The property is located close to the train station (10 minute walk) and local amenities. There is also a bus stop directly opposite with regular buses which is a great option if you don’t feel like walking. The staff were super friendly and always helped with any queries we had. We also ate at the restaurant one night and had drinks both nights - the food was lovely and the young gentlemen operating the bar were very professional and polite. It is a lovely hotel for anyone visiting Montreux especially for those with a love of music!
The Prealpina is situated in a large park overlooking Lake Geneva, the French Alps and the Lavaux UNESCO World Heritage Site, only 500 metres from Chexbres-Village Train Station.

It was just a small village, but was very pretty. The bakery was fantastic, and it had two supermarkets for supplies. There were two restaurants I saw but we didn't eat out. It has a train station which we used to get to vevey
