We liked having two separate rooms, with a television in each one. We also appreciated the kitchen... nice to have a full fridge to keep our drinks/water cold, and to store our leftovers. We also liked that it is walking distance from the Outlet malls, and a close drive in to see shows at The Shaw Festival.

The property was a convenient 10-15 minute drive to the Clifton Hill area and the Falls.
The hotel staff were friendly, helpful answering questions, etc. The hotel was very clean and morning breakfast was good. The staff overseeing the breakfast kept area clean and were also very friendly.

By far one of the prettiest towns I have ever stayed in and a perfect location to visit Niagara Falls. Plenty of restaurants, shops, and bakeries. Right on Lake Ontario. Loads of vineyards within the area. Will be back.

Many pubs do not take reservations - best to check ahead.
Many pubs do not take reservations - best to check ahead. Lots of tourists and locals - so if there is music - know it may be hard to get into a place for a quick bite to eat. The app for parking near down town is fantastic.

I love it! It is such a quaint little town.
I love it! It is such a quaint little town. I would love to visit during other seasons. We stayed in winter, it was a bit rainy and foggy but absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the afternoon tea at the hotel. What a wonderful experience! We also ate at the Irish Harp across the street from the hotel. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend both of those.

Just an absolutely wonderful place to visit for the theater, food, shopping, walking, and overall atmosphere. The Irish Harp and Angel Inn are great places for food, a pint, and music. Shaw Festival productions are the equal of any Broadway show. In the middle of Canadian Wine Country. We visit from the Finger Lakes in NYS at least once a year.

Great place to visit, we actually make it a yearly event.
Great place to visit, we actually make it a yearly event. From the hotel, everything you need is only a short walk from the door ! If you want a more elegant setting, the hotel dining area is for you. If you want to rub elbows with the locals, there are plenty of restaurants & dinners close by. The Shaw Theater is a five-minute walk from here, and the Royal George Theater is six minutes away. All in all, it's a great place to visit at any time of year !

Niagara on the Lake is a beautiful, romantic little village that is vibrant and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the shopping, theatre, restaurants, and took advantage of the warm weather with a nice long walk along the water's edge and checking out the historical landmarks along the way!

Linens and pillow comfort. In room dining option and quality of food-delicious. Robes. Amenities such as pool and hot tube were so relaxing. Pool was nice and warm unlike other hotels where you freeze once you jump in after the hot tub. It was a lovely transition. The ease of access from highway and convenience to shopping and vineyards fantastic without the traffic and parking issues of downtown Niagara. Fireplaces in lobby and ambience of the hotel is so pretty and welcoming.
We are always treated like royalty at this hotel. The staff are excellent and listen to our needs if we need anything at any time of the day. We also loved the location close to everything meaning restaurants, bakery, parks, the beautiful garden near PIllar and Post, Gas station 1/2 block from the hotel. The two beds in the room was also another feature as most hotels in NOTL have only one bed. Would give the hotel a 12 if they had such a thing on the survey. +++
The breakfast was AMAZING! Best bacon ever, and the host was so sweet. He made gluten free vegan waffles (for a different guest) and I could just tell she was so grateful and she said they were delicious! He was super accommodating and very kind, my partner and I will definitely be booking again if we visit Niagara On the Lake again!
Beautifully presented B&B! Wonderful host Anna was very welcoming. Exceptionally clean rooms, very elegant and relaxing. A home away from home. Breakfast was 3 courses with fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and home cooked banana loaf. Loved Niagara on the Lake! Easy walk to town. Highly recommend staying at Darlington House👍
Our room was comfortable, but the best feature of the Pillar & Post is the pool area, which is the social heart of the property and makes you feel like you're on a resort vacation. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and it's a bonus being able to access the beautiful gardens across the street from the hotel.
Fabulous location. Right in the middle of town. We popped in and out, multiple times during the stay. The kids had a blast; our younger one termed it the “fanciest hotel” we have ever stayed in. If you have not been to Niagara-on-the-lake and plan to visit, stay here.
124 on Queen is an excellent hotel sitting in the heart of Niagara on the Lake’s beautiful and historic downtown. Our room was well appointed, perfectly clean and very comfortable. Hotel staff are friendly, attentive and very helpful.
Great location, perfect place to explore Niagara on the Lake & the falls themselves from while keeping away from the bustle of the falls & it's hotels. Lovely decking to sit out on, have a BBQ and watch the sunset from.
The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautiful! The surrounding gardens and decor are exquisite. The location is great, close to everything that Niagara on the lake has to offer. The restaurant, Tiara, is also amazing.
We were visiting Niagara on the Lake and stayed just for 1 night.
Everything was perfect with the accommodation and our Omelettes for breakfast were exceptional.
A lovely place to stay.
The Canterbury Inn is comfortable and extremely clean. The staff are friendly and courteous. The walk from the inn to downtown Niagara-on-the-Lake is short and easy.
Great location with a little walk to the high street. Breakfast is at the hotel across the road. Very helpful host! We loved Niagara on the lake it was beautiful.
Great location to get to both Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls. Staff were super friendly and great hotel shop. Rooms were fine and pool was nice.
