Parc Omega, hotel in Montebello

Parc Omega enjoys a location in Montebello, 3.7 miles from Parc Omega and 4.7 miles from Louis-Joseph Papineau Manor. This resort village features free private parking and a shared kitchen.

The accommodations' were top notch. The Wolf Chalet/cabin was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and it felt very homie. We brought most of our meals with us and cooked. Bring board games (yahtzee, cards, monopoly) We had the wolves in our yard all day/night. They were very active. They do howl so if you need your sleep you might need some earplugs. We thought is was cool to listen to the howling. The Park itself was nice, the animals at the start of the park will all come to your car and then you are out of carrots before you get to the next section. The safari is rather large so pace yourself. There are rental golf carts for rent to drive thru a path to the farm. There was also a feeding of wolves and bears in the morning. I would like to see better choices for meals but I understand it is a safari park. We thought that there would be a steak house or some kind of nice family restaurant on the property. *Just a quick FYI. Bring more carrots than you planned to bring! We brought 2 very large bags and they were gone in a matter of minutes so we went got a few more bags at the gift store. Day 2 we went into town and at their grocery store we got 4 more larger bags. My husband said this was his best birthday gift ever and he would love to do it again with all of our kids and grandkids.

Wonderful stay, beautiful grounds, amazing lobby, many activities for family, had a great massage. Did: curling, squash, board games, snowshoeing, hike, tubing, swimming, whirlpool.. Love the dog-friendly environment, and many nice dogs in lobby. Restaurant good, but remember a fuller breakfast buffet, and also a table d'hote option for dinner, no longer offered. Try the Bistro in Montebello villate, amazing! The one that says 'pizza ou four' (wood oven pizza) in window. Older rooms are a bit tired, if you want the old charm, but I understand likely awaiting renovation. Miss the old La Seignorie bistro in the hotel, hopefully it opens again. Miss the running tube lift! Seems this activity may be on the way out?

A beautiful, historic town that stands out. Really worth a visit here and to explore the beauty of the town and surrounding area. Perfect place to come for a short vacation. Love the way they have information plaques displayed on the heritage houses and buildings. Makes it accommodating to walk, read, learn and appreciate the time that has gone into the historical research.

Montebello is a convenient destination - less than 2 hours drive from Montreal you can even go for just a day tour! But if you plan to stay, I would suggest you book a hotel/motel somewhere at Notre Dame Street because it's close to everything. You can drive or walk around and you will see there's a Fromagerie who sell a wide array of local cheeses and you can also try artisan chocolates at Chocomotive. For brunch you should go to Le Cafe Entre Amis; we were in for a surprise because it exceeded our expectations, the food was fresh and delicious! Last but not the least, don't miss the Parc Omega it surely is a fun activity for kids! Don't forget to bring carrots!

Auberge Montebello is only a few minutes away from Omega Park. It's a family-operated hotel and restaurant which provided a nice atmosphere and a pleasant stay. Everything was fine, including an excellent authentic Indian dinner delivered right to our room, except for the terrible coffee and a lack of a microwave in the room.

We're not new to Montebello. We've been there many times. We always enjoy coming back for the friendliness of the staff, for the excellent cuisine, for the accommodations, for the location, the activities and the countryside, more particularly for the blend of yesteryears' rustic melded with today's modern conveniences. The dinner was outstanding. We were celebrating my wife's Birthday. BRAVO!

Looks like they have many activities for everyone in the summer and winter. The fall and spring would have fewer activities it appears. The indoor swimming pool was well used based on the traffic. Outdoor areas were packed up or stacked to be put away for the winter. Card and board games, movies and events were arranged on the two rainy days we had at the venue. Trails were well travelled and easy strolls. Umbrellas were provided to those who wanted one at the front door. Staff were friendly, polite and seemed happy to be working there.

Location by the river and close to Parc Omega. The structure itself built in the great depression is built from redwoods. The central focus is around 6 central fireplaces where there are plenty of sofas to relax and have a coffee or drinks on the lower floor. The bedroom and bed were comfortable. Bathroom functional but dated. I enjoyed the curling and history tour provided by the hotel.

The place is very good. We felt like in an all-inclusive. My girls loved the pool and especially the playground. You can play tennis, walk on small trails and there's a beautiful golf course. The restaurants are really good, especially the BBQ outside. We ate very well.

The breakfast is top tier. Definitely worth it just for that. But the decor and just overall ambience of the venue is amazing. And it feels like it's a hidden gem of Montebello.
