The location is prefect and the staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Beautiful town. Wonderful people who treat you like their neighbours. Great restaurants. Don't let the main street being torn up deter you it adds to the ambience and the merchant's desperately need tourist support during the ongoing improvements. Fantastic festivals!!!!!

Amazing beach - clean and clear.
Amazing beach - clean and clear. Lovely white sand, shallow blue cool waters. Small play area by the beach, and a small walk way into the waters which is a also a strategic location to view the amazing sunset.
Dont miss the bagpiper music played from the lighthouse at sunset! Its a small town and all dine ins close by 9pm.

We went to the big grocery store Saturday night to buy food.
We went to the big grocery store Saturday night to buy food. We ate dinner Friday at a bar with great fish and a great view of lake Huron. It was easy to drive in Kincardine and easy to walk, too. There are literally hundreds of bagpipers all over town. They play anywhere they want and they don't care if you don't want to hear it. I'd want to avoid that, but I don't think that would be possible in this town.

We travel to Kincardine every summer for the Highland games in July. Great little vacation town with nice selection of shopping and food. Local residents can be a bit crusty on this weekend and can often be heard complaining about the tourists while lined up in local restaurants and shops

We had lots of choices of places to eat and chose Boston Pizza and the Erie Bell and enjoyed both. There are many parks and they have lots of innovative climbers etc. for children. We didn't have time to explore the walking trails but there are plenty of them. Loved the easy-going pace of this lovely harbour town

Quaint main street including lovely park.
Quaint main street including lovely park. A stretch of main road turns into pedestrian mall on weekend. Interesting history. Lots of interesting shops and restaurants. We ate at Bruce’s and had excellent meal. Pretty beach near marina and lighthouse. Enjoyed a sunset cruise, skillfully run by Captain Mike & First Mate Meri.
Will for sure go back!
The location with a balcony facing the water was lovely. The comfy chairs and blankets to use in the cooler weather on the balcony was a thoughtful addition. The staff were friendly. Felt like a boutique hotel. The area was quiet as it was off-season and that is exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast choices were good and were packaged individually. We will be back
My room was excellent. I was happy with the cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast and comfortable large room.
But my girlfriend had the room beside me and the air ventilation system was leaking water and mold was visible below the unit and on the carpet. This is a bit of a health Hazzard.
Other then that I will definitely return to Kincardine and stay here.
Staff were great on check in. Very accommodating to our last minute requests. Room we were in was Clean with good shower. But on a weekend where most of the Hotels/Motels in Kincardine had jacked the rates to extortionate levels It was nice to see the Save Inn was a reasonable rate still.
The hotel was good, with a warm pool that the kids enjoyed a lot. The location was perfect, with go-cart, Station beach, grocery store, Tim Hortons and several restaurants nearby. This is an excellent choice for families with kids, you won’t regret booking it.
Rupi - the owner of Maple Leaf Inn was very friendly and had great information for us regarding the town of Kincardine. We ran into some trouble getting on the internet and one of her staff came and helped us immediately. The room was clean and comfortable.
Owner incredibly accommodating, friendly, both in letting us check in an hour early, and answering questions about area, and printing all for our reference. This is rated as a 1 star hotel, and in reality is a 2 star hotel.
It was close to Shoppers, Bulk Barn, Tim Hortons, Sobeys.
The room was big with 2 queens, and pull out couch, microwave and mini fridge.
Hotel was nice and quiet. We stayed on a Sunday night.
Beautiful location, 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk, half mile walk to downtown. Newly renovated cabin was delightful! Wilma helpful and friendly.
