Arrived to be greeted by the main man, booked in and accompanied to our room through the garden. This part of the building had a back door so we could access and park the car really close in the adjacent street behind the hotel. The room and bed were fine, all the usual amenities. Breakfast was Continental with a good variety of bread, croissants, fruit, meats and cheeses.
A very short walk to the main square and bars and restaurants. Smashing.

We had travelled 1675 miles across Belgium and Germany and stayed in a dozen hotels. This was the end of our holiday. Auberge De Klasse was by far the best place we stayed in. The host was so welcoming. The Auberge is an old farm house with a beautiful garden. All the rooms were tastefully decorated. The highlight was the breakfast. So tasty. So well presented. We will tell all our friends about it.

I would have preferred a kettle in the room in order to make tea. Also, there were no USB charging ports However, breakfast was excellent and very nicely presented.

Small walkable town.
Small walkable town. Quieter than the coastal towns in the summer months. Two interesting churches in town. Good train and bus connexions to the coast and interior of Belgium. A large number of rather expensive restaurants around the main square Grote Markt in the centre. We liked Brasserie Christophe but had negative experiences in two other restaurants around the square.

One of the best preserved towns in Belgium.
One of the best preserved towns in Belgium. It would be easy to see everything in half a day, but it is extremely pleasant to stay for longer and there is easy access to coastal towns like De Panne, Koksijde etc

An interesting and attractive town with many of the historic buildings still standing. An excellent tourist office with a most interesting museum about life in Veurne during WW!. Good restaurants and plenty of them. Good access to the coast. Pleasant rural countryside round about. I did like the old railway station, now being restored, and the carillon in the church tower

Nice small city, I'd even say tiny.
Nice small city, I'd even say tiny. Quite a lack of cafes and restaurants. You can expect raised eyebrows if you come without a reservation. The food is all sorts of deep fried stuff, chips for garnish, you really have no other options. All kinds of krokkets and meat. Not a big choice of tap beers, mostly Brugse Zot and something in addition. Not the experience I was expecting to get from Belgium.
I recommend hitting the city park on the Grotemarkt, it is very small and quiet. Has a playground, a few cages with parrots and a few nice statues

The kitchen is very well equipped.
Very short to the city center of Veurne allowing easy shopping (bakery/buchter), and the next door warehouse is really convenient during your stay.
The house was foreseen to host as well dogs, which made it really nice to get our family together.

Beautiful and peaceful location. For us we found it perfectly situated half way between the Sint Idesbald brewery and the centre of Veurne. We were able to rent a bike right outside the property and there were drop off points at both locations.
Everything was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing.
Very nice old town home/castle. The owners take pride in how they renovated and created this place. Rooms are spacious and full of character. Breakfast is absolutely great and Veurne is a nice town to visit with a couple of really nice restaurants. Highly recommended.
The staff were very welcoming and we found our room, which was lovely.
Breakfast was fabulous! The hotel had fabulous decor and tastefully done.
Location was very close to the centre, but tucked away enough to be quiet.
Will be going back!
Ideally located to explore the historic town of Veurne, a very short walk from the town square yet peaceful to enable a good night's sleep. Very friendly and helpful hosts. I can't think of a more enjoyable stay at a hotel.
