All the doors (castle shop, beer-garden, entrance etc.) were closed. We had an Austrian phone number to call for somebody. We liked the person who appeared after a few minutes to give us all the information and keys we needed. Tea and coffee in te huge well-designed apartments were great.

Great place in quite peaceful village. The rooms were clean and nice. I enjoyed very much my stay at Gasthaust Schachinger. I had also the dinner at the restaurant and the food was absolutely great and very tasty. The staff and owner there are very friendly and helpful. I just regret that I couldn't stay there longer.

The food was excellent, probably the highlight or our trip. The pool was beautiful, and surroundings perfectly clean and organised. For more things to do, Attersee is a quick drive away, with lots of options for activities.

It's a small, charming town without the feel of tourists getting in the way. Lots of pretty town houses with decorated windows and pastel colors. I'm not sure there's much to do at night and we didn't get to try the restaurants. It was just a short stay. I'd go back, but I'd try for a cheaper place to stay for the night.

Booked this hotel late at night due to a car breakdown as it was the only one available. At first I thought it will probably be the most expensive one in town, but next day it turned out to be even the cheapest. A simple but not uncomfortable hotel with a decent service. Nothing spectacular but nice green and quiet surroundings and for the fact that they still offered us a service at this time I should give them 15, not 10.
The location was great and the hotel was really nice. What made this such an excellent stay was the communication from the staff in the build up, especially Sussanna and Fritz, because I wanted a very late check in and of course there were Covid-19 protocols to navigate. But I was thoroughly reassured before my trip. I highly recommend.
The breakfast was excellent, well presented and freshly prepared. Very good coffee.
The hotel is in a fantastic location for easy walking access to all parts of the centre of the town centre.
Nice and clean hotel.
The best thing about this hotel was the location and the parking, right out front. The town itself is beautiful and charming, and the hotel is located right near the town square.
Very good service and highly qualified and friendly staff. Breakfast with nice variety.
A Pizzeria is just within the Hotel with very good food quality and variety.
