I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.

It far exceeded my expectations, especially as far as price in relation to quality. Everything in the building and rooms is clean, new, and high quality. Linens and bed are very comfortable and great quality. The hotel is small, peaceful, and cozy. I loved staying here and was so grateful.

Hotel Le Negresco, overlooks the beach and the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. Free Wifi access is provided and there is an on-site fitness centre. Unique property! people were taking pictures of the hotel and there was a sign of only guests allowed cause people want to look inside - that should give you an idea. it’s a museum!!! Laura the host was particularly amazing! service was perfect, you felt like royals. the ultimate French stay!

Tältä viehättävältä 1700-luvun guesthouselta on helppo lähteä tutustumaan Carcassonnen keskiaikaiseen kaupunkiin. Erittäin ystävällinen vastaanotto.
