We enjoyed very much the hosts, their cooking (the homemade jams and gingerbread), the house with the great design furnitures and the cosy bedroom. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us very good advices to enjoy our stay (restaurants, activities...). Thanks to them we had a great trip in Mulhouse area!

Hôtel & Spa Le Bouclier D'or is located in the historic La Petite France district in a 16th Century building, a 5-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff at the front desk and excellent locatiin. We added breakfast which was very good but a bit costly. Room 21 was great.

The location is excellent in regards to access to the beautiful sites of Strasburg and excellent dining options.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous - we had a room with a mountain view & it was incredibly beautiful! The room itself was spacious, clean & decorated in a very unique and authentic way. Breakfast was good - nothing spectacular except for the homemade croissants which were delicious. In terms of location, I would advise to have a car, the city center is not really accessible by foot, especially by night. We really loved our stay & hoping we’ll be back!

Very impressed with the restoration/conservation works undertaken- modernised facilities and yet retaining charm of a villa. Well tended grounds and gardens too. Lovely breakfast room and terrace. Tranquil environment and yet just a short walk to train station and nearby to the old city. Loved the fact too that there are only five rooms. Fabulous! Florence was very hospitable and available to help with any queries. Highly recommended.
