Situated in Huillanopampa in the Taquile Island region, Taquile Sumaq Wasi - Casa de Felipe e Ines features a garden. The property has lake views. I'm genuinely happy to have spent some time at Ines and Felipe's. Everyone is super kind and we had the luck of being there while the family cooked for other community members and hosted a session of Easter chants, to which we have been allowed to take part. Thank you so much!

The nearest airport is Inca Manco Cápac International Airport, 57 km from the country house. We had the best time at Alejandra’s! We stayed 4 days with the family and they were the sweetest. We had the chance to fish and work in the potatoes and oignons fields with her daughters, and also made really nice bracelets!! Alejandra is a reel chef and made amazing food for us as well, most particularly the truita!! If you go there, you will be surrounded by many animals, we even witnessed the birth of baby pigs which was a really nice experience. If you want the comfort of a 4 stars hotel, this is not the place for you, but if you want to share nice moments and live the real experience of a Peruvian family by the Titicaca lake with the best people, this is for you!!! The property is located 4.9 km from Deustua Arc, 5.1 km from Pino Park and 5.1 km from Puno Train Station. Bus Station is 5.2 km from the country house and San Juan Church is 5.2 km away. Worth staying here even if you just have a short time passing!

Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Very hospitable and kind family! It was interesting for us to observe the life of the local people. Very tasty food (besides breakfast there was an opportunity for lunch and dinner). It is very calm around, no city fuss, we really rested our souls. Picturesque places nearby. It was possible to negotiate with the owner about the boat to the islands Amantani/Takile. And the alpaca lives here too!

The place itself is clean, has a stunning view and is located in a really quiet area.

Located right in front of Titicaca Lake, Titilaka boasts chic decor, an on-site restaurant with regional and international cuisine and rooms with free Wi-Fi. All rates include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as happy hour drinks and snacks from 11.00 to 12.00 h and from 18.00 to 19.00 h. This is probably one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to. The staff is always here to help and are very professional and well trained. The hotel and amenities are really beautiful and the location could not be better as the hotel is right on lake titicaca facing isla taquile. The food was good and all the little additional attentions were appreciated (5pm service with delicious cocktails or wines to be enjoyed near a brasero outside or inside, after dinner tea service, welcome drinks…they were too many to list !)
