Mérida is 8 km from this property. Situated in Conkal, Casa de Campo Conkal has free outdoor swimming pool and garden. All rooms feature a private bathroom. All rooms come with a terrace. Carlos, Lety and Enna were excellent hosts and made us feel like we were family for the time we stayed with them. The dinners and breakfasts we ate there were very good. They even helped us with learning our Spanish. When we needed to leave early at 5:30am for birding, they got up to open the gate. The rooms are lovely, everything worked. The pool and outside areas are also very nice. I would recommend this place if you want a quiet place away from the hussle and bussle of Merida.

Set within 49 km of Kukulcan Stadium and 49 km of Carlos Iturralde Stadium in Homún, Finca Oz features accommodation with seating area. Homun is a wonderful town that thrives on the Cenote tourism, but mainly catering to Mexican tourists, espicallit folks from Merida out for weekend escapes and such. As Americans, we were a bit of novelty, but everyone was lovely and patient with our imperfect Spanish. The Finca itself is slightly hard to find; most street numbers are hard to spot from the street, and the outside wall is anonymous. But inside is a beautiful wonderland; it would be a fantastic place for a large family gathering or group of friends traveling together.

Just across the street from the Uxmal Pyramids, and a 40 minutes' drive from Merida. This historic resort offers an outdoor pool and a working plantation filled with fruit trees and jogging trails. It’s a unique experience, being a hacienda. So it wasn’t a classic hotel experience, which was great for us. The bathroom was something new also, with sky view. Big and clean room, nice furniture, great breakfast experience. The Hacienda is very close to the archeological site of Uxmal.
