The kitchen was well stocked so that we could cook a meal each night. The apartment was naturally cool during the day with using shutters but had AC if we needed it. A pleasant walk to Ponte Pietra.

The grounds are fab too, a great pool, wooded area to explore with kids playground and a terrace deck, and 2 lovey covered eating places near the pool bar. One, a fully thatched open sided barn. The place is about 40mins from the airport. Venice is easy to get to from a number of nearby train stations with free parking- don’t drive there’s no point. The quiet country location is perfect for someone looking for access to busy bustling Venice, and a wonderful peaceful escape to come home to. The rooms are classy, comfortable and all air conditioned.
