We felt very well taken cared for the whole time. The rooms seem to be very newly refurbished and are ideal for a getaway in the mountains. The breakfast offers a variety of cakes, pastries, fruits, yoghurt, cheese and sausages/hams. We also loved the freshly brewed coffee evey morning (cafe latte, cappuccino, etc) which could be even made with soy milk.

Il Casale del Generale is situated in Agerola, 50 km from Naples and 36 km from Sorrento. Free private parking is available on site. Il Casale del Generale features free WiFi throughout the property. The breakfast was amazing. The hosts were even better!

Beautiful surroundings in a cliffside town above the mediterranian. Brick-houses with orange tile roofs clutching the jagged terrain, and the monte tre calli and the astronomical observatory as its most prominent features. A picturesque view of agerola municipality while eating breakfast in the cool morning air was especially memorable. The staff is lovely and the food was great, mostly home made and not too costly. I would reccomend the house-wine for drinks and a tiramisu with a glass of grappa for dessert. The garden is beautiful and well kept. They have some chickens, geese and a couple of pigs in a pen to the side of the garden. The peacock Nancy (a male) prances around freely in the garden, he is very cool.

They made us feel like part of the family and catered to everything we needed We had a very long travel day and didn't arrive at the property until almost midnight, yet the team still ensure we had a full dinner before settling in for the night. We would love to return!

מלון 'וילה סנטה מריה' (Villa Santa Maria - Luxury Country House Suites) נמצא לאורך החוף האמאלפיטאני (Amalfi Coast), ויש בו מרפסת דק פרטית בחינם שנמצאת ליד הים ומצוידת בכיסאות נוח ובכיסאות גן, גנים... Amazing views, incredible patio, fantastic staff. Francesca made our stay unforgettable - she is a true jewel. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The location is great just outside Amalfi, making it a lot quieter and the view is incredible. There is a bus stop just outside in the street, but it gets busy from Amalfi station at Easter (when we were there.) As a backup, one can walk to Amalfi (25 mins, scenic) or take a taxi (EUR 35, taxis are very expensive in Amalfi!) In my opinion, the location is a plus rather than a negative though! If you'd rather not go out at night, they even prepared us supper at the villa! Some reviewers lamented the stairs, but if it helps, they do have a porter to help with luggage. Anywhere pretty in Amalfi is going to involve stairs! Our stay was amazing, can highly recommend it!
