Nestled in the Dyfi Valley, The Firecat Bed and Breakfast features large open fireplaces, exposed beams and traditional oak furniture throughout. Everything was amazing! Very atmospheric house and the area around it: green hills, river, sheep, geese and chickens. You will recognize that you're in a special place at the moment when Robin and Jane serve you an incredible royal breakfast (or dinner if you want). Location is great! We traveled all over Snowdonia, we did a lot of trails, we were on rivers, lakes, waterfalls, stunning sandy beaches. It was a truly amazing trip for us and our dog! We will miss it very much and will recommend this place to all our friends!

A 14th century country house situated on the Welsh border of the Wye Valley, the Rhydspence is a former drovers inn surrounded by the countryside views. Everything!!! From a very warm welcome from the owners, who upgraded our stay before we had even arrived, to the superb breakfast. The building was warm and inviting, the room beautifully clean and cosy. The slightly sloping floor added some jollity to the stay. The open fire in the bar was lovely and added to the cosy atmosphere. The bar was busy with locals who were enjoying having a well stocked and friendly pub nearby. We will definitely be going back at the earliest opportunity.

Set in 17 acres of beautiful gardens, Llangoed Hall offers luxurious accommodation with free onsite parking and free Wi-Fi. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The location is spectacularly beautiful! The breakfast selections were varied from continental to cooked and there were choices at dinner which were all elegant. My husband enjoyed walking the grounds and the interior was filled with paintings and interesting artifacts. It was a pleasant hotel in the countryside!

When the place is so exceptional, I only noticed "First World Problems": champagne glasses could have been nicer, soup was a little too hot, bread could have been brought warm.
