Just outstanding! Room was huge and the bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also great with good water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was wonderful, the breakfast room is just great. Walking through the castle gardens when regular visitors have left is very relaxing.

The hostess was exceptional and shared lots of history, the grounds are fantastic, quiet and the home-cooked breakfast was one of the better meals I've had in weeks. Absolutely beautiful building/accommodation, set in a lovely estate that has everything you coulld possibly need. The whole experience felt cosy, clean and relaxing. The beds were super comfy, the living space was pleasant, but the biggest highlight was the hot tub! Exactly what myself and my family (and doggies!) needed out of a mini-break away for my Dad's 60th Birthday. The hosts themselves were lovely and attentive. The young gentlemen in particular who showed us to the accommodation was most helpful and welcoming. And thank you so much to the gentlemen (I think, Ian?) who came round on our last evening to let us know that no one was checking in next day and we could take our time in the morning :) definitely didn't want to leave!
