Situated in Beddgelert and with Snowdon reachable within 16 km, Sygun Fawr Country House features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. Breakfast was awesome with hot breakfasts REALLY hot! The quality of the food at breakfast is also amazing. The location is absolutely awesome with fantastic views, though with a slightly challenging road to get there :-) For evenings, there's a couple of alternative areas with an honesty bar which is well stocked. Once the home of Lord Snowdon, Plas Dinas Country House now offers traditional country house accommodation set in 15 acres of beautiful grounds. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Everything was amazing. Our room, the Caroline, was beautiful. The proprietors have thought of everything. Some homemade little treats waiting for us to accompany our in room tea & coffee. Cocktail hour before dinner with delicious canapés, then the Michelan like 3 course dinner was outstanding. We couldn’t fault this property.

Tir y Coed Country House is a haven of peace and tranquillity, nestled in over an acre of mature landscaped gardens. This was a great location for our two nights in Conwy. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had high-end conveniences that we weren't expecting. The gardens were absolutely beautiful; we wish we'd planned for some time to sit on the veranda and enjoy the birds and flowers. We had a flat tire on our rental car while we were in Anglesey an hour away. Sandra was so helpful in advising us while we rearranged our plans so we could pick up another rental. She even called a taxi for us to get to the train station. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with generous portions -- a great way to start a full day of adventures.

Housed in a historic building, The Old Smithy offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Trefriw, 25 km from Llandudno Pier. I loved the peace and quiet of the place. The shower was excellent and the whole bathroom was impeccably cleaned, as was the rest of the space.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Bryn Elltyd Eco House is a country house set in a historic building in Blaenau-Ffestiniog, 17 km from Portmeirion. We liked the location. The grounds were pretty and it was very peaceful. Good central location for exploring Snowdonia. The host was pleasant. The bed was big and comfortable.

Located just 3 miles from Conwy, Glyn Isa Country House B&B and self catering Lodge is set in family home, dating from the 17th century, within 10 acres of private land and gardens. Beautiful country house and the room we stayed in was large and very comfortable. Friendly and informative host, who ensured that we knew what was available in the area. Great breakfast served with extras, such as homemade lemon curd.

Situated at the foot of Cader Idris mountain, Afon Rhaiadr Country House is within the heart of Snowdonia and offers white-water rafting, kayaking and mountain biking in the local area. We loved everything about Afon Rhaiadr. The hosts Gina & Garath were amazing, so helpful on offering tips & hikes, etc to do in the area. The ambiance when dining was exceptional. We will definitely return when in the area again.
