A gorgeously decorated character building set in a beautiful country estate in the English countryside. Perfect for a little getaway to enjoy a piece of the english countryside in Bedfordshire. The location is perfect for little walks into the nearby villages for a bite to eat at the numerous country pubs, to visit the cute little boutiquey shops or just to enjoy the beautiful countryside and buildings. The cottage had been beautifully decorated in a fresh and modern country feel but has tastefully respected the age and history of the building. The kitchen is well kitted out for the keenest of chefs with a big Aga style oven and all modcons. The cottage accommodates a family comfortably with a little bedroom for 2 on the second floor with its own little tv. This was perfect for our family, giving our older children a little space of their own to relax whilst on holiday. There was also a fantastic adventure playground outside the cottage, which kept all our children (11,9 & 4) entertained. The grounds on the estate are beautifully kept and we could have easily stayed longer to enjoy more time there walking around the lake, enjoying watching the ducks and birds and appreciating the nature. The accommodation is set about an hr from London so ideal if you want to stay in the countryside but still enjoy what London has to offer.
