We were greeted with a very warm welcome and a wonderful tour where we received an abundance of information about our stay at the Château. Our rooms were very comfortable and we used the swimming pool while relaxing and enjoying the serenity and sunset. The host was friendly and attentive. Breakfast included wonderful fresh figs and home produced honey! We would highly recommend.

My stay at Château MontPlaisir felt like a scene from a fairytale, I was treated like a princess from check in to check out.

The chateau is beautiful, the room was comfy and nice. The view is incredible from the chateau. The breakfast was very delicious. Annecy, Lyon, Geneva are not far from it.

You can play tennis at this bed and breakfast, and the area is popular for hiking. Lyon is 32 km from Château de Colombier, while Mâcon is 34 km from the property. Lyon - Saint Exupery Airport is 47 km away. We stayed at this beautiful estate for three nights in the "yellow room" that is tastefully decorated with lovely antiques. It felt like a house museum that we could sleep in. The Bathroom is modern and spacious with lovely touches of pretty soaps, nice towels. It is a pastoral setting overlooking the countryside. We have to thank Jean & Sylvie who were so kind and thoughtful and their generosity of recommending restaurants and places to visit some of these places were not even mentioned on travel sites. We would return in a heartbeat.
