Fantasic relaxing quinta with nice pool and comfortable apartment. Wunderful nice and hekpful hosts and to our surprice fridge full with breakfast items etc also fresh bread delivered every morning. Travelling round nothern Portugal for 3 weeks this was the best stay we had.

Fantastic house, in a super quiet location. We went for a MTB event nearby, but used the free time to hike in the vicinity. Amazing. Loads of trails nearby, and the place itself is incredible. The house is full of character and in tip-top condition. From the outside it looks like it always did, but inside it is spacious and comfortable with great facilities, and an intriguing mix of modern and original features, such as the glass wall of the bedrooms looking at the original "feature wall". This does mean the are several steps and very low external doors. It is nice and quiet and very private despite being only a minute or two's drive from the main road, giving quick access to Melgaço and anywhere else along the river.
