Location was good - only a few km off our route south. Very quiet and peaceful. Newly refurbished traditional building with a lot of interesting features and modern styling. Comfortable room and a good breakfast.

They provided some nice touches including cookies and coffee. The place is quiet, just in the outskirts of Penacova. There are a few coffee shops nearby, proper restaurants are around 2 Km away. The host was amazing, very friendly, and allowed to store bicycles in the garage downstairs.

They deliver fresh rolls every morning. Amazing views of the hills around you, especially in the early morning. You can walk in the trees right behind the house, in a big loop. My dogs liked that.
